Does anyone own a Shichon? We have been considering a number of small breeds and keep coming back to these. Any experience welcome !

Well if it lessons the chance of it being brachycephalic as shih tzu's are, it's surely better than a pure bred one.

Or she could just get the dog that she wants 🙄.
I see this trotted out a lot on MN but I looked for a rescue for over 2 years before I gave up and got my puppy. 99% were staff crosses or greyhounds. Most had behavioural or medical issues. Didn't find a single one suitable for a household with young children or for first time owners. We were looking at multiple places regularly too.
