What does your Labrador weigh?

We have a Labrador who has always been small (but healthy!) since the day we brought her home 5 years ago

She's a "fox red" and only 19kilo at the moment (although her weight has been known to be 21/22kg any more than this and she is overweight says our vet)

I never released until long after we got her that there is an English Lab which is more stocky and an American Lab which is more athletic but she definitely fits into the latter. Although I had never know such a small Labrador!

Interested to hear the variations in size and also to see if anyone else has a small lab like ours

Yellow Labrador, he’s 29kg and the vet says he’s perfect We still see his siblings and some are smaller, some larger. He’s right in the middle!

She's 13 months old and was 23.5kg last month. She's quite leggy so I think she will continue to grow! And will probably get a bit heavier once she is spayed. We are very strict with food though - I do not want a fat lab!
I met a black lab on holiday who was the same age as mine and he was definitely a different build - not thinner because mine is also lithe - just less "chunky".

fox red would be from working lines as it’s not a popular shade of yellow for showing, they do tend to be a lot smaller.

Fox red male lab - 4.5 yrs. We call him a gentle giant and he weighs 31/32 kg, which is healthy according to the vet.

Working lines are smaller than show lines.

Female lab - American style. She's light framed but tall. 25kg and spayed. Exercised about 1 hr per day.

Mine is working line, and is 25kg which the vet says is spot on. He's just over 3.

I only hear of American vs English on American based websites. I hear more of working vs. show here.

I have 2 - both black, working lines. Male is 31 Kg aged 12) bitch is 27kg . Bitch is very leggy and tall .

My male has certainly broadened as he aged, but still has a good waist and tummy.

Our older lab is 26.5kg, younger one just under 22kg (still growing)

Our fox red dog has working lines but is tall, and really strong. Aged 3 he’s at his heaviest- 28kg. Still has a waist!

Our black Lab bitch is 2 and is tiny. She is also from working lines. She weighs 24kg and is definitely plumper than her (blood) siblings (to my shame!) Still in decent shape but she definitely has the greedy gene, more so since her spay, poor lady.

Male black lab 41kg he's not overweight, he's just huge!

My FR Lab is almost 6 months, last weigh in she was 16kg. She’s very leggy

Working line and she is 31Kg of Pure muscle walks about 6 miles a day.

Entire male, fox red, 2 years old 30 kg.
He's very broad and deep chested. Very narrow waist not clear in this picture.
Our last lab, male, varied 29 -31 kg throughout his life. Similar working backgrounds.

Our boy is an almost 3 year old, neutered, working lab and has weighed bang on 30kg all his adult life. Despite being a greedy fucker, he never gains and ounce and has the longest legs and shiniest fur. It’s not fair really!

16 month old male Fox Red - 25kg - vet tells me he's far too skinny (you can see his ribs to be fair) but he eats tonnes and everything else seems perfect so not much I can do

My choc lab (show breed rather than working) is around 38kg but needs to be around 35kg really according to the vet

Our fox red working lab is 27.5kg, vet keeps saying shes overweight (they grade the dogs 1-9 and shes 5.5!!) I think shes fine but what do I know? 2 1/2 hours of excercise a day?? All off lead?? I think they vary sooo much

Ours is also from a working line so in the smaller side- 24kg and apparently perfect according to the vet who "sees a lot of fat labs!" I can understand why- she's completely food obsessed!

Nope! He's pretty much an overgrown puppy still at 4 years old. A bull in a China shop 🫣
