The quest for replacement poo bags

Hi All,

Until now we have always used poo bags from Wilko's. Sturdy cheap and not see through or scented. Now they are going into liquidations I will have to find new ones that fit those criteria. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

The Wilko ones seem very popular as they are hardly ever in store and also out of stock on the website.

Earth Rated - I get them from TKMaxx. Very sturdy for our black lab and his big poos! Never had one rip and have carried them for a good mile or so with no smell from them.

I get mine in Home Bargains, black bags with handles. I can’t remember how much they are but they’re really good value. I dislike the (expensive) rolls of green bags without handles - Beco? They’re more of a faff to knot and carry than the tie handles.

First thing I thought when I heard wilko's are closing! Oh no, no more sturdy burgundy poo bags!!! They've been out of stock most weeks recently though anyway. Dreading running out as there's none that compare despite the descriptions 🤷🏼‍♀️

Morrisons nappy sacks are brilliant. Thick, large and smell great!

Unfortunately nothing comes close to Wilko dog poo bags for price, size and quality. A lot advertised large and heavy duty but don’t comes close to Wilko ones. Sad but true 😥

As I've learned on this thread - NOTHING biodegrades in landfill, even the "biodegradable" bags 😡

No worries, I had a near panic on Friday when I realised that the last of mine had run out! 😱😅 I am currently using Sainsbury’s all size as they are huge, really strong and black to curb my weird squeamishness. 🙂
