What do you do with dog poo??

Hi all, we have a beautiful 12 week old Cockapoo. She's doing her poos in the garden, no problem. But what should we do with them? We've tried bagging them and putting them in a bin, but the smell still lingers. Just wondering what everyone else does?

Thanks.

Bag it and take it to dog bin on walkies. Our black bin is only emptied once a fortnight so I don't use that.

We bought another flip top bin that secures when you close it, it sits in the shade in the log store near where our dog does his business (same spot every day 👍) and I leave it 'dry out' a little (doesn't take long, ten minutes enough) then bag and bin and then dump, if you pardon the pun, the lot in the black wheelie bin just before it goes out for the main collection. Give the bin a good spray/clean every few weeks. Tying the bag tight and having the bin in the shade helps minimise the whiff but it is, essentially, a bucket of poo so there's going to be some pong. It's funny how quickly you adapt to all kinds with a dog!
