My dog tiptoes at night

She's a boisterous heavy pawed noisy thing by day.

At night we let her up to our room for a bit whilst we watch tv before bed.

She's seen that we tiptoe upstairs because of the baby being asleep and she creeps ever so quietly up the stairs and past the babies room.

Just had to share.

Mine stealth attacks at night by either very slowly or very quickly moving up the bed to his preferred spot beside my pillow. He waits until he thinks we are asleep. I love dogs too.

Sweetest thing I heard today.

My old lump of a dog who tramped about like he wore hobnail boots would tiptoe out of his bed when he thought I was asleep and climb on my bed. I'd say to him that I could hear him and I swear he used to sigh then stomp back to his bed! I do miss him!

I knew a dog that ran through the house on hard floors but slowed down and quietly walked past the baby as it slept. Then she picked up speed again after she had passed it 🤣

They are the BEST

My little bed creeper is quite small. Toy poodle size or slightly bigger. But DH insists that he bed hogs by lying next to my pillow causing me to shift over. I confess the little guy gets mixed messages as he cadges a tummy rub quite frequently lying next to me.

That’s adorable! Dogs are too good.

Meanwhile my cat waits until I’ve fallen asleep to rearrange all the boxes in my wardrobe and when I express my outrage at all the crashing sounds she gets a really stubborn look on her face like ‘lady, take it up with the council if you aren’t happy. I have my orders’

There is no tiptoeing from someone with that attitude 😂
