Do you buy your ddog Christmas presents?

It's Eric's birthday on Christmas Eve and so I've bought him a new bed as he now prefers to sleep in a bed than on the sofa. I've also bought a stocking that I'll fill with some treats and a toy. Of course dd's will buy him gifts and dh no doubt will so I'm guessing he'll end up with quite a stash. Tell me we aren't the only family buying gifts for the dog this Christmas. Mind you the hamster Sophia gets a stocking too

We used to get dmils dog a present, and both sils dogs got them too. This year we'll get dmils budgie one and our new hamster one. Madness.

My ddog will be getting bacon flavoured doggie treats and several new soft toys this Christmas this year.

Of course!! My aged mutts will get a few special treats, and mince for Christmas dinner (I did give them steak once but they prefer mince)

2 years ago I gave Fred, the sprightlier of the aged mutts, a brand new rugby ball for Christmas. He's a genius with a rugby ball. We took it out on Christmas afternoon and he had a good old play. Unfortunately the ground was a bit soggy and he ended up tearing his cruciate ligaments :-( Most expensive rugby ball EVER.

Absolutely - it isn't all about the excitement of Ddog as he gazes out the window looking for reindeer either.

A happy dog with a new squeaky toy provides hours of Christmas entertainment for the whole family, and a happy settled dog having a good chew in a quiet corner isn't a dog getting hyped up by all the excitement in the living room or insisting that we always exit the house for a walk at 9am sharp, so why should today be any different?

I'm planning on making Dcousins dog some homemade dog biscuits. To make it even more 'precious' I'm going to make them gluten free.

My dogs will be getting a doggy stocking each, and a new toy each from my mum. They'll be getting Christmas dinner too, in line with the vet-approved diet that BoyDog has to follow - turkey leg meat, some boiled potatoes, a bit of mash, some carrots, and meat juice as gravy on it. They'll love it.

Last year they got new collars. This year they have asked Santa for new hotter fleeces.

Ddog has a Christmas sack, handed down to him from our previous dogs, he'll get a toy and some treats.

Yes. DDog is getting a new christmas collar. Got one for PILs dog too. Also got them both new squeaky toys. BIL will buy DDog a present as well.

No. They are dogs and they have no clue what is going on, other than that the table scraps are much better than usual.
No presents for the cat or the small furries either.

I don't get her presents buy I do buy a distractabone ( just a normal tasty bone to distract her) she's boring doesn't play with toys, doesn't like biscuits, doesn't sleep in her bed, doesn't like clothes. I wish she was a more Christmassy dog

Every year we have a family party on Christmas eve as it's my Dc's dads birthday.

After we have eaten and played some games the highlight of the evening for us all is to watch the dogs open their pressies. They have a sackful between them!

Yes, our dog gets a proper Christmas dinner plus presents.
I will be getting the fish presents aswell lol, a heater for the betta and some new plants for the others

my boy has a advent calendar and will get doggie treat and pressies on xmas, the presents will be empty bottles wrapped up and stuffed toys which he will love ripping to bits
then he will get a special doggie xmas dinner

Well for the past two years the dogs' (slightly late) present has been a new addition to the pack

This year though they'll have to make do with the rather fabulous sets of matching collars and leads I've spent all afternoon picking out for them.

I'm also hoping I can get them some custom fleeces made but I really don't think they'll be ready for Christmas.

Ours will get bones to keep them quiet on boxing day, and some toys.

My pup isn't coming home til after Christmas so no Shame though,but he'll have lots of new things when he comes home so a late Christmas present would be a bit daft!

My parrot will get presents though,some new toys to destroy and some parrot jelly.Ds made sure she had presents for her first birthday early this year too!
