Just looking at that list and I'm laughing at Stalin and all the members of take that.

Rufus is also on my list.maybe I need to buy more of the dogs and get rid of my family. It seems the logical thing to do.

Dd was going to call her cat Batman, but it's become one of his middle names instead.(Yes, our cat has middle names tooBlush)

Jigsaw? I have a friend who had a springer/basset hound cross called that. Don't think you'll find any of your friends DC's called that but you never know. My black and white Border Collie is called Finn. I call him with a two tone call so it sort of makes it two syllable.

Douglas
Feargal
Tony

Chester?

(Friend tells me that you want a dog name with at least one hard consonant so you can sound like you really mean it when you tick them off -- none of your nicey-nicey Lala or Bobo names.)

Lancelottie · 20/11/2013 11:19

Though I love the idea of calling him something utterly wrong for the colour. How about Carrot, Ginger, Pinky, Silver?

smaths · 20/11/2013 11:26

Jarvis [the] cocker

How about Minstrel, as in 'The Black and White Minstrels'? I haven't read the whole thread though, so somebody may have already suggested this!

Wow 8 dogs!

Well we have probably looked at every dog name website and our current favourite is Marlowe. I'm not sure why! Though I am a big Raymond Chandler fan and Phillip Marlowe is his main creation.

Ages ago someone asked to see a pic and we took some one our last visit. Hopefully I've done it right.

He looks rather like a dog we had when I was a teenager - mainly black with a few white bits - he was called Jasper and he was fab

reup · 02/12/2013 21:14

My old dog was Jasper. He was mainly black lab though. (but had tan paws and eyebrows)

Marlowe is a fab name - also a Raymond Chandler fan - very classy Smile
