Rodger.

He was a big lab and such a cutey. He came to play with my 2 GSDs and his owner was bellowing across the field "Rodger, RODGER come back"

Rodger obviously gave 2 fingers to his owner as me chucking a ball was far more interesting than his owner.

Just thought I would share that as the dogs name made me smile on a cold, grey morning.

Our Cat is called Claude. Suits him down to the ground.

I also knew someone who had a cat called Philip, and someone who had a cat called Alan.

DD's guinea pig is called Alan & she has a rabbit who we got from a rescue centre around the time of the last American elections. He had a name she wasn't that keen on, so he is now known as Barack O'Bunny!

we had a rescue dog called orinoco - we don't know if the rescue centre gave the dogs names of rivers or whether he was called after orinoco the womble - he did have a long pointy face like a womble.

My. Dog is called Finn. Met a dog the other day called Douglas. Love that for a dog!

My mother's Italian spin one was called Rodger. I have had a Norman and a Steve before.

My Border Collie was called Doris

I knew a dog called Derek.

Also a Richard. Never Rick or Dicky. Richard.

Our hamster is called Derek, We also had guinea pigs called Dermot and Ardal (Big Father ted fans at the time) They both had babies Our gerbils were called Jarvis and Rodney

We knew a family who chose the name of their dog by each choosing a name, and pulling one out of a hat.

The dog was called Keith.

Our dog is called Colin. It suits him down to the ground and often gets a laugh from other people. My BIL is also called Colin though which caused some amusement when we were house-training him

I have a cat called Larry.

If I ever get a dog it will be a Graham.
