Hello

We've just got a Malamute. He's 12 weeks old (and gorgeous) Grin

I wondered if anyone had any tips on care/feed/walking/sleep/training etc?

We are crating him but only got him today so tonight should be interesting.

Hello

I just wanted to let you all know that Seth is now 9 months old, huge and gorgeously fluffy! He is currently shedding so we're making rugs if anyone is interested? Wink

He's adorable. A really well behaved dog. He's had 2 courses with our local training school, where a lady who trains gun dogs works, and is set to go back in September for the final section of the course.

He adores the DC, the cat and even the birds that sit on the fence looking at him. He's as daft as a brush too!

We are so in love with him and he really is one of family.

I would also like to say thank you to all of you who posted advice and helpful comments when we first got him. Smile

He sounds like a lovely dog. Well done!

My husky/malamute cross is shedding at the moment too and it is amazing how much fur there is. I was wondering how many cushions it would stuff ... Making rugs sounds like a good idea!

Yep Redwing - I've NEVER seen so much fur. We're on a brush a day currently. Plus every time he sneezes, coughs, burps, farts etc...... he expels his own little fur cloud Grin
