Yeah I thought Nathan was ok at the beginning but he's slowly started to crack up - like going mad cos Josie tried to help out with shopping budget etc. And now he seems like a real bully - picking on just a couple of people so he can feel like a big man. I'm wondering why Shabby and Caoimhe hate Nathan so much, tho? It seems to pre-date what's happened over last day or two and def makes it seem like there's been more going on than the show has focused on?

Does anyone else hear Terry Tibbs off Fonejacker/Facejacker everytime Mario speaks? Weird accent! He's funny tho..

potplant · 07/07/2010 10:45

Can someone catch me up on the argument betwen Shabby, Ife and Caoimhe? My virgin box only recorded the first half so I missed what happened.

Any Live fed watchers? wtf with Nathan, he seemed fairly inoffensive up till yesterday. Has he always been like this and they're just not showing it on the main show?

TulipsInTheSunshine · 07/07/2010 11:14

I was watching the live feed last night and JJ, Josie and Caoimhe were talking in the bathroom and by the sounds of it alot of Nathan's unpleasant habits have been edited out.

Apparently he freaks out at people making noise at night and has a go but first thing in the morning he starts tramping around the bedroom shouting about how badly he needs a wank and how sexually frustrated he is (in his charming vernacular), he's been acting really sleazily towards Josie, making comments and groping and has been a shit towards JJ as he gets her attention.

He won't let anyone so much as make toast without permission and goes off on one if anyone touches anything in the kitchen but doesn't cook until he feels like it and only cooks what he wants... so lots of boring english food at stupid times at night.

He expects everyone to be in a good mood when he is and shouts abuse if they aren't and equally if he's in a bad mood everyone else should be too.

LittleMissSnowShine · 07/07/2010 12:34

I hate the way he calls girls he fancies 'sweetheart' and talks to them like they're shit if he doesn't like them. yuck.

vmcd28 · 07/07/2010 12:34

potplant, basically the argument was -
the housemates were split into two, after the basketball task, and half of them were thrown a party. The other half were locked in the bedroom.
Big Brother played Tina Turner "Proud Mary" into the house, and Ife started dancing (a bit over the top, to be fair).
Caoimhe and Shabby were at the window in the bedroom, basically saying things like, "It's like watching a 12year old's drama group, and generally being a bit snide, saying "Ooh, cringe. I'm cringeing." THEN, Ife looked over at them, and they started saying "Cringe, cringe" at her.
Anyway, Ife got upset, cos she said she had just been letting herself go and losing her inhibitions. C and S said "Oh, we were only joking around." which I dont believe they were, given that they were being snide and saying it behind her back before saying it to her face - there was no indication at the time that they were just winding her up.

TulipsInTheSunshine · 07/07/2010 13:07

Much as i dislike the girl, Caoimhe did make a good point though... surely sheIfe should have left her inhibitions at the door of the big brother house!

Ife is a sly one... she knows well how to play the poor little victim and make others out to be far crueler than they are. Granted what Shabby and Caoimhe were saying was a bit mean but most people would have taken comments like that from friends on the chin and just retorted with something catty in response.... but that doesn't get you sympathy from the viewing public does it?

vmcd28 · 07/07/2010 13:25

I know what you mean. Ife is defo manipulating.

The reason I am saying they were being horrible to her is because it was all said behind her back first. They never said "let's wind her up" or anything, they were bitching behind her back.

potplant · 07/07/2010 13:39

Is that all? I saw that bit but I thought it was about something serious!

Ife is a professional dancer, she's always going to be a bit over the top when she dances.

Not quite sure about Ife yet. I would rather Caoimhe left than Shabby. She is so boring.

vmcd28 · 07/07/2010 14:03

Ha, I know! It was so petty!

Nathan is quite sweary isn't he? Hope he goes on Friday, he reminds me of Johny Regan and I didn't like him much either.

stainesmassif · 07/07/2010 19:29

ah, fantastic. surely nathan is a shoo out for eviction!

sharbiebowtiesarecool · 07/07/2010 22:02

yay nathan out nathan out

TulipsInTheSunshine · 08/07/2010 13:11

I know it's annoying being on at 8 isn't it? thank god for sky plus or i'd never be able to watch it.

I've got a hunch Nathan is going to beat the record for highest percentage of eviction votes on friday... current record is 92% (that guy Sezar 4/5 years ago)

potplant · 08/07/2010 15:24

Sezer's eviction is one of my favourite ever moments on BB. I might have to go watch it on You Tube just to have a laugh! He's apprently some millionarie investment type person now.

I don't think that Nathan stands a chance against JJ, but more because JJ is so popular rather than Nathan is hated IYSWIM.

jalopy · 08/07/2010 16:59

Nathan looks much older than he is. He's got a real smoker's voice.

TulipsInTheSunshine · 08/07/2010 19:00

yeah, JJ is loved... even if you don't like his personality he makes excellant viewing. Nathan went from boring to arsehole overnight and hasn't given us anything worth watching.

youtube has blocked sezer's eviction on copyright ground [sulk]

potplant · 08/07/2010 19:02

I just googled him and he's 25. Blimey I would have said 35 at the least.

vmcd28 · 08/07/2010 19:02

I thought he was in his thirties!!

stainesmassif · 08/07/2010 21:13

this is really one of the best bb's ever! i am constantly changing my mind about the housemates. interesting to see dave and ben negotiating ben's new friendship with caiomhe.

vmcd28 · 09/07/2010 10:05

Is it only me who doesn't hate Dave?!

:-)
To be fair, I see his point that nobody else is quizzed on their views and opinions every single day.

And thats a reason I'd never do anything like Big Brother cos I don't know what kind of person id become when I'm isolated! There must be very little to do except bitch about people!

stainesmassif · 09/07/2010 10:50

this is what i mean, last week i hated caoimhe and dave, this week nathan is top of my hit list and i don't want either of them to go. and he was very impressive in the army test....
