Anyone been watching this?

Just discovered it and caught up with the first 2 episodes, it's really good.

Oh thanks for the reminder, have turned the tv on now, would have missed it otherwise.

CarGirl · 21/06/2010 20:54

you have saved me from the football, thank you

Ragwort · 21/06/2010 20:55

I do enjoy watching as I have worked in retail and find it very interesting but Mary is so irritating and full of herself - do others agree?

bigTillyMint · 21/06/2010 20:56

Me too CarGirl

Buddleja · 21/06/2010 21:16

No I don't Ragwort - I think she says it like it is and she knows her stuff

Some of the people whose shops she goes in to help out are fools and can't see the wood for the trees (like this weeks crowd)

dustycups · 21/06/2010 21:19

another buisness owner who clearly wants a free makeover!

there is something i quite like about mary

Buddleja · 21/06/2010 21:26

I'm really baffled why these people are asking for Mary's help and yet seem to be totally against listening to anything she says

dustycups · 21/06/2010 21:28

£4.25 for a cabbage

tibni · 21/06/2010 21:31

Have to wonder how much for the full veg box!

mistressploppy · 21/06/2010 21:32

yay! More silly "I know better" twerps on Mary Queen of Shops!

Buddleja · 21/06/2010 21:32

I'm wondering who gets their veg from Harrods!!

Is it really worth it even if you have the money?

That aside these women are really daft

MollieO · 21/06/2010 21:36

I am amazed that they have never heard of veg boxes and don't see the marketing potential at all.

lucykate · 21/06/2010 21:37

"I'm really baffled why these people are asking for Mary's help and yet seem to be totally against listening to anything she says"

i think it's because they need help, want help but just cannot take constructive criticism.

stleger · 21/06/2010 21:38

I wish Mary would come in and 'do' my boss!

IWishIWasAFrog · 21/06/2010 21:39

i love mary

dustycups · 21/06/2010 21:40

is it me or is going in to business with family asking for trouble!

my mum and step dad had a business with his parents and it was a nightmare!

Buddleja · 21/06/2010 21:42

Not sure Mary does hits stleger

MmeLindt · 21/06/2010 21:43

I love this programme. I am always amazed at the people who ask for advice and then do not take it.

Buddleja · 21/06/2010 21:45

That's true lucykate - i shall reword then

I'm baffled why people who ask for Mary's help don't realised that in order to change they are going to have to hear what they are doing wrong and accept that it is wrong

stleger · 21/06/2010 21:46

At times I'd cheerfully swing for my boss who 'won't be told' . In reality I moan to my dentist who fancies herself as a retail consultant, and comes in and advises him.

MmeLindt · 21/06/2010 21:46

Am following Mary on Twitter now. She is great.

lucykate · 21/06/2010 21:51

not sure about them dressing up in vegetables, but good to see them finally starting to pull together as a team.

dustycups · 21/06/2010 21:53

thats a nice green grocers!!

unavailable · 21/06/2010 21:54

Why is she strong-arming women into doing a calender girl type photoshoot? Really cliched and unnecessary.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/06/2010 21:57

tis like a siege now!
