...because I have to say....she is dreadful!!...but I did agree that her old dad couldn't have managed to live upstairs in the attic.

And they're quite...um...old to have young children aren't they....I mean, I actually know lots of people who are older parents and have had their kids in their late 40s, but they're not just old in years....they seem like an older generation somehow...so...

...well, I'm totally out of order and a horrible judgey pants, but isn't that why we watch location location?

She is rich and picky.

AnyFucker · 13/05/2010 20:43

They are very, very posh (the older couple, not the lesbian couple)

Thediaryofanobody · 13/05/2010 20:44

DH is hogging the TV will watch this on 4onDemand they sound interesting.

GoingPostal · 13/05/2010 20:45

was about to start a thread myself, was wondering the same.

what an awful woman. I am quite happy to put on my judgey pants for a woman who can't stand the idea of looking at "houses like that" (were they council houses, or just a bit too small for her to look at do you think?)

and my god the reaction to the swimming pool - "it's what Poppy wants" - Poppy being their what, 10yo? daughter.

what is ironic though is that they think they are so damn special - but they don't actually have enough money to buy a sufficiently massive place to house her ego in the location they want.

can you tell she has annoyed me a bit?!

mrsbabookaloo · 13/05/2010 20:49

Hurray! Thought I was alone!

I think she dresses older than her years. A change of outfit and new hair do would take years off her.

30andMerkin · 13/05/2010 20:51

I'm here! Have you ever been to Cobham? It made me want to scratch my own eyeballs out so I could stop looking at it. I cannot for the life of me work out why you'd pay over £1m for a moderately ugly house just to live there.

LostArtOfKeepingASecret · 13/05/2010 20:52

Oh god, I'm spending too long talking to my mother if I'm saying outfit and hair do!

I'll be wearing 'slacks' next

MrsDickens · 13/05/2010 20:52

'Not the greatest postcode....'

Oh, puhleese. I'm getting very tired indeed of these moneyed people with an over-inflated sense of entitlement. Heaven forbid she should have the wrong postcode or have to look out at (shudder) council houses.......

I'm afraid I really want them to offer on that house then fail to get it. Harsh but true!

mrsbabookaloo · 13/05/2010 20:52

Yes,I keep peering at her and wondering...is it her hair..or is it just her plummy plummy plummy..IS ANYONE still that plummy? - voice?

fishie · 13/05/2010 20:53

ooh but he really loves her a lot. i think she has been unfairly edited, esp at the beginning.

they've all got so much money and nice places to live. £250k for 20yos!

noddyholder · 13/05/2010 20:53

Snob tastic

GFatemybaby · 13/05/2010 20:56

If either of them put in an offer i bet they pull out.

fishie · 13/05/2010 20:57

leather trousers!

30andMerkin · 13/05/2010 20:57

OMG!

They made an offer without viewing a house?

MrsDickens · 13/05/2010 20:57

Oh FFS. So the entitled ones get what they wanted....bah!

30andMerkin · 13/05/2010 20:58

And OMG - who did I miss in leather pantaloons??

mrsbabookaloo · 13/05/2010 20:58

She is becoming slightly more human.

I now feel it's been totally rigged for drama...the Pyrford house is so perfect and near Cobham where they wanted to be, why on earth wouldn't they have shown it earlier...expept for us to enjoy the discomfort of them hating the other places?

Sorry, am behind, as keep pausing the TV to read and type.

noddyholder · 13/05/2010 20:58

the first house had a row of small houses visible from the first floor windows and she said'can you imagine waking up looking at THOSE every day!'

30andMerkin · 13/05/2010 20:59

WEll they got whatever their dinner-party-status-competition list dictated. I wasn't feeling the love personally.

noddyholder · 13/05/2010 20:59

I have offered without viewing twice !

GFatemybaby · 13/05/2010 21:00

Oh Gold buttons on red jacket. yuk.

expatinscotland · 13/05/2010 21:00

llloonngg over it.

same stuff every week: people with a 'budget' on par with a Lotto win moan at everything they're shown.

yawn.

watched blood sweat and luxuries instead.

mrsbabookaloo · 13/05/2010 21:02

Oh, I'm more behind than I realised! it's over now I know.

Anyway, thanks so much everyone: this has really lifted my lonely mood after a terrible bedtime with the kids, and a row with dh after which he went out.

OP posts:
MrsDickens · 13/05/2010 21:05

Had to gasp when she said there was nowhere for the children to play, as they stood in some humungous room.....and as for the 'poky' kitchen the size of a hangar.....funny ideas some people have!
