I'm watching, not sure I should be though. Feel very sorry for the first Dad, well and the 2nd actually.

DrivenToDistraction · 31/03/2010 21:14

Seems to be...

jeffily · 31/03/2010 21:18

So sad. I hope that I would not stop DH seeing our LOs if we did ever separate. Thought the mum who said that mums who do prevent the children from seeing their mothers will have to explain themselves to the kids someday had a good point.

Frizbe · 31/03/2010 21:19

I'm watching, the dad whose being refused access I do feel sorry for, especially if he has a contact order as a step mum and a mum I can see how important it is for both parents to have contact and it sure helps if both are amicable.

onestepforward · 31/03/2010 21:20

I am resolute I will never stop my xdh seeing our dd ever. How could I do that to her? She needs her Father. Completely agree with the 2nd Mum.

DuelingFanjo · 31/03/2010 21:20

I think the one couple are amazing, though I think it's sad the dad has to rent out most of the bedrooms in his house.

Not sure about the other guy. I missed the beginign so not sure why his wife is witholding access.

No reason at all DuellingFanjo other than being a spiteful cow (as far as I could tell) It's so easy for people to berate fathers for not maintaining contact, but when they're up against this kind of crap week in and week out, well who can blame them frankly.

onestepforward · 31/03/2010 21:24

It didn't really say any reason for the wife is doing that...

Frizbe · 31/03/2010 21:25

Well at least he got the order to take the kids away!

onestepforward · 31/03/2010 21:27

Think we might find out about the reasons now...

gaelicsheep · 31/03/2010 21:27

The thing is, he can afford it (or if not exactly afford it at least find the money somehow). Many fathers can't, but don't qualify for legal aid, so what on earth can they do?

DuelingFanjo · 31/03/2010 21:27

oh - she's speaking...

OP posts:
DuelingFanjo · 31/03/2010 21:29

I wonder if they are deliberately making her look bad ...?

I'm sure that Juliet was on Dragon's Den

MavisGrind · 31/03/2010 21:30

I'm watching this through the eyes of the recently separated, so it's a bit close to home for my liking.

I will never deny my children access to their father or vice versa however my goodness it's hard when you think he is essentially a twunt!

DrivenToDistraction · 31/03/2010 21:31

FFS she's lying through her teeth. Poor DC

onestepforward · 31/03/2010 21:31

If they are deliberately making her look bad they are doing a good job...

Meglet · 31/03/2010 21:32

she's going a bit OTT isn't she?

Frizbe · 31/03/2010 21:32

agree with that osf

onestepforward · 31/03/2010 21:32

Mavis I'm the same. Can't believe what she has just said about as long as you have a warm happy home who cares about the Dad

MavisGrind · 31/03/2010 21:34

I view her choice of bed as suggesting she may be little delusional..

StrictlyKatty · 31/03/2010 21:35

Alex's story is breaking my heart! What a horrible, lier on an ex! He clearly did go to the house!

DuelingFanjo · 31/03/2010 21:36

something has obviously really turned her off men!

Glitterknickaz · 31/03/2010 21:36

hmmm well the guy with the financial problems.... why can't he sell the barking house and the one he's in, as the kids only sleep in a cupboard there anyway and see no benefit, then use the funds to downsize with a couple of sofa beds? The kids would have a better bed that way too...
