Channel 4 tonight, featuring a lovely young couple from our village.

Oh God, how heartbreaking to have your baby taken away in an incubator thing immediately. Crying buckets now.

they're such a sweet couple

they had to take DS to an incubator like that, because of cord round his neck.

but i could see him the whole time and he cried.

Oh god, watching your baby being wheeled off. That is so hard - it's really bringing back memories.

oh god I'm in floods here - the memories - both mine sections - the shaking, the worry of not hearing that first cry - hope all is well with the baby.

when DS1 was born by CS and didn't cry straight away, I held my breath and cried when he did too

I shook too and didn't breathe until heard that first cry.

I thought Steve was going to redeem himself then and say something meaningful but no : I'm going to the toilet and have a fruit bowl. Useless fecker.

My DDs and Ds2 were taken straight off to SCBU, its horrible to watch your baby being wheeled away from you
