Anyone going to watch Vampire Diaries??

This started in America November last year - it's really good.

Starts Tuesday, 2nd Feb with a double episode I think.

I am. I loved the books so I'm curious to see if the series is half as good.

I've seen the trailer on the itv website. Looks really good! Didn't know there were books?

Lethereberock: I have read the books and the t.v. series is totally different, the have changed quite a lot compared to the books but it is still good.

The series is really good IMO, but the first couple of episodes are a bit slow. Definitely worth watching.

I saw the first 15 mns and thought it was very teenagey.

I'm curious to know what they've changed and if Stefan is as much of a drip as he was in the books.

I do prefer Damon I have to say (but then I always enjoyed Angelus more than Angel, and prefer Eric to Bill. Bad boys are fun...)

Stefan isn't at all how I imagined him. And neither is Elena. I'm sure she was a blonde.

Oh I started rereading the first book so I could have a fair idea what was going on. Didnt realise it was tonight it started I have it skyplussed for Friday.

Im hoping there's some good eyecandy in it im having Eric withdrawals.

Damon's rather nice though not as dark and brooding as I imagined him to be.
