The new cbeebies Winter song...

Very dreary and depressing filming it in a deserted city business district, I thought the season songs were about being in touch with nature, no?

Maybe it's because they film out of season, and they couldn't find a location with no leaves on the trees? (although that was where they filmed the springtime song, hence the rather desperate CGI daffodils)

Guess they can't film a year in advance in case the line-up of presenters changes.

I hardly noticed the song itself as the setting was so miserable. No big deal, but I'm going to be seeing it 3 times a day or so for 3 months, last years was so much nicer...

...is total crap. It droned on and on and on and on and on till it sort of droned off. Very grim. Bring back autumn or preferably summer.

don't like it at all. Really loved the autumn one with the retro film-effect, the song, the children eating their apples. it's bad.

DD and I watch the summer song on youtube at least once a day.

Quite liked the autumn one. Haven't seen the winter one, but did hear it this morning as the DDs were watching telly in our bed while DH and I tried to catch a little more sleep, and thought it sounded dreary.

It's awful - even worse than the Autumn one which was a bit too "try-hard" but bearable - couldn't they have done it in a studio or something if they couldn't find a wintery enough location?

The song is repetitive and annoying. I liked the Summer one best.

first time i saw it i thought no this can't be the new season song, it must be some random thing they are just showing and the real one will be out soon, i couldn't believe it.. i thought they could have made something so much better for winter

Yeah i agree the song is lame, insipid, flat..you name it and even for us who are stuck with kids tv all day depressing enough..kids that age need something lively, cheeky and fun..the one they had lasy year fro xmas ( winter winter here I come.. something" got my kids in a really good mood all the time and would sing and dance to it ..that is how I measure a good song..if the kids like it enough to want to sing along and dance it IS good..why don't they pre test their songs

The last couple have been terrible.

Last years Autumn one was very good, with Sid and Andy in the woods, they are awful lately, all studio-ed harmonies and you can't hear the words properly. I know Alex and Cerrie are bad singers, but Pui wasn't great and they managed to sort it out with her.

Not seen it yet but I was hoping it would be as good as Gotta love the Spring and far better then Mellow Fruitfulness

Do we not get to see a very well hung looking Justin and Andy in Santa costumes then?

It's terrible DH and I were looking forward to it (saddos that we are) but were quite disappointed. DD doesn't seem too bothered though.

Oh dear well I was getting excited that the Autumn one would be gone soon, and now this sounds dire.

It has been bugging me a lOT that they used Vivaldi's 'winter' in the autumn one. What have they used in this? Spring?

Can't find it on the website. Just last year's effort which wasn't terrific was it.

my daughter loved the summer one so much that we have had to download it and play it umpteen times a day. She just spins round and round in circles giggling at it. The autumn one wasn't great and I had high hopes that the winter one would be back to summer's high. Haven't seen it yet, but from your comments I'm no longer holding my breath. Booo.

I haven't seen it but will be quite glad to get rid of that stupid autumn 'health and safety gone mad' one where the children wear helmets to pick apples FGS! Really winds me up

Mind you, Canary wharf is a dreary and cheerless place at the best of times and when I'm not actually at work there, I don't particularly want to look at it

If Top Gear get to fly all over the world WTF can't cbeebies fly to norway or something and do the winter song in the snow.
even last years CGI extravaganza with Justin was better than that.

And why have they got Andy and Alex dancing when Carrie and Sid are better dancers?

Oh yes this one is very poor. DP usually ends up singing the Autumn one all day long once he's heard it and even he says this one is rubbish!
