I can't even imagine the logistics, even with 4 nannies so quite intrigued to watch this documentary.

Anyone else?

I think it would be feasible for her to spend more one on one time with them when older in that there would be enough hours in the day to do it - just. Whether she would do it like that or not is an entirely different matter!

Her stomach has probably been nipped and tucked and the stretch marks zapped. That is not the stomach of a women with 14 kids.

I just feel sorry for her, she just doesnt seem to be able to enjoy her kids. All she wanted was to be a mum, have a big (7?) family, poor woman.

Surely the point is to support the kids? Really what else is she going to spend the money on? Not like she has much of a life outside is it?

Very unfair about putting the kids money into trust - IMO she is doing what she can to give the kids a reasonable unbringing

I watched the Sky documentary about her a couple of months ago and think the same now as I did then: that she comes across as being deeply, mentally unstable.

amused at the way she claims to hate attention - this from the woman with huge fake tits, pumped up lips, a face full of Botox and what must surely also be a tummy tuck.

She always has full make up on too.

I am wondering why she would want such a large family as a single mum. As someone else said, even if she was aiming for 7 that's still a big family and how would she had funded 7 without the media interest of octuplets?

Having said that I take my hat off to her as she handles so many kids really well. I feel a sorry for the older ones though.

I agree with Nancy about the instability and the attention seeking.
I do so want to like her and be sympathetic to her situation but as this program goes on, I'm really struggling...feeling slightly disturbed by it actually...with what the kids have to deal with, both now and in the future.

What she needs is a wealthy benefactor who can support the family. Absent that I don't think she has much choice but to participate in the media circus created around her. How else is she going to get the money to raise them? Would we be so critical if she was the divorced mother of 7 (or 8 in the case of the Sky family)?

i sort of agree but i also feel that it's the outside world that is being so destructive at the moment too? they are plagued by paps and awful sleb-spin without the "real" benefits that a "real" celeb would have?? (and look how messed up famous kids turn out generally!!)
She definitely loves them, you can see it. And I also can see why she couldn't have chosen to terminate them selectively - why she had 6 in there in the first place is another matter.
Surprised me this, I thought I'd think she was a freak. I sort of get her. Long as I don't do too much reading about her being mentally unstable!!

Will be interesting to see how the family is getting on in a few years time, once the kids are all in school. Hopefully getting to spend more time with them, in a calmer environment!

OMG. Am watching this now on 4+1. It's mind boggling.

She seems nice enough and far prettier on film that in the photos I've seen.

Fair enough, if her last lot of IVF had produced only one baby, then no-one would really have batted an eyelid that she had a total of seven kids. No-one could have predicted the octuplets.

But - those children are going to need an awful lot of therapy when they're older. The elder ones in particular. Their mother has made some extremely selfish choices that they are having to deal with....

She reminds me of Michael Jackson - weird, surgery altered looking face, odd voice that doesn't sound natural, and constantly trying to hide from the public and paparazzi that she courts.

'I don't like attention'. Er, right. Her appearance would somewhat belie that.

Imo it's a cop out to say that she has to put her kids in the media in order to support them. She managed to support 6 and plan for another without media attention - seven small kids anybody? On your own? How was she planning to do that?

I don't think she's evil or bad, just a sad and needy person whose kids are going to grow up with a host of problems we can only guess at now.

And when those babies become mobile - holy crap.
