Why are the judges so freaking wet? why cant they make a decision? Its so wrong.

It's got * all to do with the judges. Producers plan it all out. Rachel had to go as despite being the best singer, Lloyd is more relevant for the demographic of this programme.

why does everyone hate danyl? has everyone met him except me? weird!!

I don't hate Danyl. He's clearly the best actual singer and has huge stage presence and stage craft. What he's doing on this show I don't know.

As has been said before, any real singers/performers wouldn't be seen dead on it (unless they're really really young and wet, and not actually very good. Oh god, I've described the bloody twins; they're going to win and The Twat will be sooooooooo smug. I despise that man, I really really do.).

I thought Rachel was looking very pretty on Saturday/Sunday despite that goddawful tacky dress half falling off her trussed up in the middle with that scary corset type belt. She is really too classy for that all packaging and rot.

I think what Rachel found so hard to understand (and indeed Danyl too) is that it is not and cannot be a singing competition. It is a popularity contest. She is a good singer, she's earnest, she works hard but that was not what would grab anyone's fancy much. If you want a proper singing contest, it has to be judged not by the public, or only to say 40% of the final score and the rest or all of it has to be judged by people who are good judges of singing (not I mean the judges the show has but proper trained singers/singing instructors).

I think it is a shame that Rachel went home yesterday.

Simon was right though - clearly the public for whatever reason do not seem to warm to her.

Couldn't actually bring myself to watch it this week (except for last 10 mins of results show). As many of you have said, tis just a popularity contest and the fact that those fecking twins are still in the competition makes me irrationally annoyed [angy]

I wondered if Rachel is not getting votes as she is another female black singer - just like last year.

tulpe - anger because the twins are still in is entirely rational. It is completely irrational that they are still there and that people vote for them!

Poor Rachel. Danni/producers really messed up her image. She always sings alternative type songs when it's her own choice e.g Oasis. Neither of the images she was given were really 'her.'

OK... they can't sing that well. Doesn't really distinguish them in the charts today.

X factor is, and always has been, a popularity content and sometimes the act that makes the biggest stir on the show wins... I'm thinking Michelle Macmanus.

I don't get why people are angry about it. What is that about? that the great and mighty Simon Cowell might get it wrong? That we should listen to some blubbing idoit because they can sing better. Get a grip, ladies!!! I know, if I were a 16YO girl (which I was once, a long time ago!!) I'd def. go for the twins over Rikki Loney. Any day.

I think, y'know... good on them.. They didn't expect to get this far... that's pretty obvious, but they are putting on a damn good show. Good on em.
