DH has just pointed out that the whiney one (Danyl?) couldn't hear the monitors last night. He suspects whoever the fall guy in regularly gets such treatment.

I have noticed in the auditions you can tell within about five seconds if someone is a 'favourite' as they turn the reverb up so they sound better and with the bad ones they flatten the sound and remove the bass so it just sounds bad.

In terms of vocal ability Rachel is streets ahead but she's a bit prickly and definitely not cute. Whereas the young Beckhamite Lloyd is.

But Simon Cowell makes money from twit and twat. People are voting for them because he's horrible about them. He makes money from that. People are voting against them, he makes money from that. You spent £1, he gets about 10p. Regardless of who you vote for and the more scandal they can rake up the more money he makes!
