I am watching it too. Its so upsetting but for some reason, I am still sat here on my own watching it.

I'm watching the phone call one from last night on catch-up, Tired but tempting to watch the one that you guys are watching after it...

I'm watching it as well. It's one of those moments in my life when I can remember exactly what I was doing.

I didn't see the phonecall one that was on last night.
It doesn't matter how many times I see it or how long ago it happened, the shock never goes away.

why are they showing this all now? it is 8 years. i spose it is easier to watch now that previously but i still don't undertstand the significance

I have seen this before, it was on More4 I think. I actually had to turn it off half way through, it was just too uncomfortable to watch. I know its not something to block out or forget, but I couldn't stop getting choked up watching it.

I guess in their mind, it was that or burn to death. Cannot imagine how you make that call.

These programmes are good because the human reactions are so real.

i wondered if they were showing it now because it is Ramadam at the moment, when it isnt ordinarily, so less chance of repucussions?

I think they are showing it now because it'll be September 11th on Friday..

It doesn't finish until gone 11, not sure I can watch it for that long.

flymetodunoon yes i said that to dp...the woman who said ' i think it could be chairs falling from the window'
i read that as being human nature doing its best to protect her from the horror she was observing. she had to make sense of the 'jumpers' but did not want it to be what she thought it was. So human nature gave her an alternative to believe. A plausible alternative . One that was bearble

Those 911 call operators must have felt awful, having told all those people to stay in their offices.

do they normally show programmes about it on every anniversary and i ahve just missed them?

that's my lot of this prog. The close ups of those poor trapped people knowing there was no way out. I cannot watch any more
