I know I am a sentimental thing but I just cried and cried at the ending today when Marion came back to claim Robin.

Ds2 and I had been watching the episode, laughing at the total ludicrousy of the plot. The last series has been so stupid, I have not really been bothering with it.

Then that Marion music came on, Much's eyes filled with tears, and on walked Marion and I couldn't hold back the tears. Ds3 (6) asked me why I had big tears rolling down my face.

What a sloppy thing I am.

aargh...finally I have a couple of hours and I thought I'd watch the final episode of Robin Hood on the HDD....only to find it's tennis instead!

And please no one tell me to watch it on iPlayer, I can't as we don't get iPlayer in Belgium.

Saltire · 03/07/2009 21:41

No more Guy. I only watched it becasue of him in his leather

Katisha · 03/07/2009 21:43

Don't worry Saltire - I think they are filming Spooks again soon.

Saltire · 03/07/2009 21:44

I know - but I bet there's no topless shots of RA like there was in the last series.

Katisha · 03/07/2009 21:46

Well it depends if they can be bothered to put all those tattoos back on him I suppose...

cornsilk · 03/07/2009 22:30

Is Richard Armitage in Spooks with his top off then?

MamaHobgoblin · 03/07/2009 23:10

I'm gutted about Guy. I couldn't stand watching it after the first series - it either made me squawk with laughter or rant incoherently, but I used to watch it with the sound down and turn it up for the Guy bits. I hadn't checked in for ages, did so the other day and was just in time to see him bite the dust! Dammit, I'll miss his outfits - black bin bags never looked so good.

Katisha · 03/07/2009 23:11

There were a few occasions IIRC...
Or maybe I just imagined it...

cornsilk · 03/07/2009 23:12

It was those tight black trousers that I was drawn to. Just where did an outlaw buy his close fitting leather trews from in Robin Hood's day?

Katisha · 04/07/2009 10:34

Interesting selection here... Not sure if they were doing online trading in 12th century though.

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 04/07/2009 14:08

OMG at some of those leather products. And the prices.

ReallyReally · 06/07/2009 13:38

oh thank god that there is no season 4

could not cope with Archer - the incredible plastic man - loping about scowling heroically

I would watch ONLY if Toby Stephens came back and the whole show was just him doing a monologue for an hour every week

glad Sheriff is dead with that bloody silly tooth

actually I thought the whole thing was a bit dodgy this time around for a family audience - too much sexual tension/ hitting women in the face/ selling them/ offering favours/ people dying WITH THEIR EYES OPEN before 9pm

sfxmum · 06/07/2009 13:54

am probably the only person who actually like the bloke playing Robin,as long as he kept his mouth shut, saw him on previous show the ghost squad where to be fair I was mostly hypnotised by the female leads enormous nostrils
anyway Robin Hood was a pretty silly show anyway Armitage can be nice to look at but can't act

sfxmum · 06/07/2009 13:55

Toby Stephens was the best thing in it this season 'do you love me?'

Saltire · 06/07/2009 13:56

sfxmum - It's ok, Dumbledoresgirl likes him too!.

sfxmum · 06/07/2009 14:00

is Dumbledoresgirl as old as me? distinct dirty old woman tendencies developing

Clayhead · 07/07/2009 07:37

'anyway Armitage can be nice to look at but can't act'

But what about North and South?

Katisha · 07/07/2009 08:31

Exactly. In North and South he was acting.
In Robin Hood he mostly looked uncomfortable. Maybe it was the costume.

sfxmum · 07/07/2009 11:15

ok he does brooding very well

Katisha · 07/07/2009 12:46

And that I think has been the problem with him in Robin Hood. The producers/writers got him in to brood, to be afflicted with unrequited love and suppressed passion etc etc all that stuff that worked SO WELL in North and South, and then flogged it to the nth degree.

Saltire · 07/07/2009 14:01

Who cares if he was uncomfortable, he looked hot

BurningBright · 08/07/2009 09:55

Guy's hair was extremely silly in series 3, though. Lovely leather outfits and brooding manliness aside, he mostly looked like he needed to get down the barbers' for a shampoo and a short back and sides.

Saltire · 08/07/2009 15:08

According to RT it was a wig he wore in series 3. I too thought he needed someone (me) to give him a bath and wash and comb his hair
