Just watched the specials on bbc4, fucking great. I now have a newly awakened crush on Terry Hall.

glad im not, soggy muddy clothes and tents, it poured and poured and poured with rain no stop today until about noon

It goes on so late on the tv I can see myself staying up watching it way past my bedtime.

7y DD watched Lady GaGa and The Ting Tings (late night cos of school play). Caught a little bit of The Specials.

I LOVE Neil Young, and am really enjoying his Day in the Life cover. He was taking the piss a bit at the end of Rockin' in the Free World though, wasn't he? Cool how he got the audience looking like a field of corn. He is ace.

Have never been to Glastonbury (was always a Reading girl) but it does look really lovely this year, and I quite want to go now.

Aw I so wanted to be there this year, I wanted to take the kids but school wasn't finished and they had all their trips and everything.

Can live without Bloc Party though.

Dolly - oh I bet you can't wait now! I am going to watch Bruce tonight for the same reason - seeing him tomorrow at Hard Rock Calling. Would love to have seen Neil Young too though. He is a legend.

Tell us know how it was

Watched some last night, recorded the rest and watching it this morning. I've cried twice so far, I want to be there more than anything. I've been so miserable all week, I thought watching it on telly and seeing all the mud would make me feel better, but I just feel worse.
Next year DS will be old enough to go (he'll be more or less 15 months by then), and we will be there!

Just catching up on the bits I taped last night. V V Brown is ace, I'd heard good reviews of her but never heard her music until now. Legs to die for too .

I think maybe I could take the kids in 2 years they'll be 4 + 2 by then. I'll rope some freinds / family into coming too.

went pretty much every year in the 90s but haven't been for 9 years now. It has gotten big big big! So much going on at any one time - so hard to choose!

Love watching it but makes me feel old cos I went in 1994 (Blur headlining the Other Stage) and 1995 (Pulp totally rocking the Pyramid stage)
