I know BHMF - It was horrid and really well acted.

Last nights episode really took me by surprise, I dont remember it being like that in the book.

I hope they do another book soon, Two Women would be fab!

I think there'll be a wave of adaptations now. I've read quite a few of the books but they all seem to blend into one. MIL is a devotee, when I'm reading one I've borrowed from her I can't help but picture this little white haired 71 year old devouring all the "Fuck off, you fucking nonce" drugs, torture and violence. Bizarre.

Ive sky+ it its already got me weeping and its only 5 mins in.

I don't remember the ending being like that in the book - is it just me?

Two Women is my absolute favourite MC book.

The Take book doesnt finish anything like the SKY1 programme. IIRC Freddie is murdered by JImmy in a warehouse (although I may be getting it mixed up with another MC book- they all end the same)

Did anyone else think that Jackie looked like Ken Barlows bit on the side off the canal boat at the end?

yep freddie got murdered

and jimmy and wife spilt up as he couldnt hack her sleeping with freddy, though they do have a shag

then goes into future and turns out that she was pregnant with jimmys child, they get back together and they have a boy and all ends well (as it can)

the jump shown years ago also changed at the end

but was it jimmy's wife that killed him? i thought i remembered that Jimmy killed him and as he was killing him that's when Freddy told him about them having sex.

aunt maggie - i am so anal sad that i had to go upstairs and re read the last few pages of book

they had a row, jackies daughter told jimmy about freddy raping his wife (heard in garage)

and then jimmy kills freddy, little freddy hangs himself in a junior detention centre and jackie commits suicide as said cant live without big freddy

jimmy goes on a 2mth rampage of sex and then gets back together with wife who is pregnant, and they have their child

all is happy

i was so sure that maggie didn't kill him and it was jimmy in a violent manner.

feels a bit like the ending was rushe in the tv version to be honest which is a shame.

And also (in the book)- Didnt they only realise that it was little Freddie who killed Little Jimmy because he killed the pet rabbit in the same way?????

I was realy disappointed with the SKY1 end tbh- quite an anti-climax.

tiredemma - yes you are right, though think the tv did mention that jimmy knew freddy did it, and then jimmy got cross with little jimmy

Thought this was brilliant (must read the book now) What a fantastic actor, did you notice when he was about to do something mean / bad his eyes changed. How the hell did he do that ???

I have to say that link to the photos of Tom Hardy are totally fabulous. He is absolutely gorgeous in some of those photos.

Does anyone know what the music played at the start of each programme is?
