Tom Hardy is so fab as Freddie

Frasersmum123 · 19/06/2009 10:14

Tom Hardy is a great actor - he pulls off the drugged up paranoia really well.

I really enjoyed it - and am wracking my brains to try and remember what happens in the end. I dont remember the Freddie/Dad bit in the book.

Im also currently reading 'The Graft' and am finding it difficult to remember which is which

the middle/ending is sad in the book

do you want me to say what or wait till its on next week?

tv wasnt that bad - hope wife had house insurance to replace tv and life insurance to help get over the death

elliepac-you must lead a very sheltered life

Frasersmum123 · 19/06/2009 12:22

Wilts · 19/06/2009 12:29

Frasermum- I also can't remember the end and have been googling with not much luck- I am very impatient

But am pleased to say I have coped with the violence ok so far, with only a little a bit of watching through my hands

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/06/2009 12:44

its not nice

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/06/2009 14:11

bloody tv schedules

part 3 is on next week and part 4 the week after

junglist1 · 20/06/2009 19:55

What an actor! OK with the violence having watched that film about the Essex boys, THAT was hardcore! He should get an award for that role, and the others are really good. On the posters I thought I'd hate the blonde character, but I feel really sorry for her! Can't wait for the next one.

Frasersmum123 · 20/06/2009 20:32

The Book portrays Jackie as much harder and she is much easier to dislike IMO

I have just seen the trailer or the next episode and its all come flooding back now and so I cant wait until Wednesday.

What film are you talking about Junglist - I love stuff like that

I love this, finally got round to watching it last night but have been looking forward to it for weeks.

I disagree with you about Tom Hardy, i found him a bit camp at times, but think he improved as it went on.
Im trying to remember if ive read this, I thought Id read all her books, but they sort of keep merging and I cant for the life of me remembeer what happens in this one.
Compared to the books (which I sometimes have to put down because theyre so nasty) I didnt find it that violent.

Can anyone tell me what the song was from the original adverts for The Take a few weeks ago, I cant get it out of my head but cant figure out what it is.

junglist1 · 22/06/2009 18:52

It had Dan from Eastenders boyfriend in it (Carols man from way back). It was about the 3 heads who were shot in a Range Rover in 1995, from Carlton Leach's perspective. It has some graphic mortuary pics at the end though. Oh God I'm having spag bol for dinner.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/06/2009 14:55

essex boys was good - esp the fight out in field in end

all double crossing twats!!!

also like snatch

right

just reminding anyone who is watching that part 3 is tonight (tho if you miss it) seems to be repeated on most nights again

Frasersmum123 · 24/06/2009 22:17

Watched it tonight and thought it was great, really well acted, especially by the boy who plays Little Freddie!

Frasersmum123 · 24/06/2009 22:21

Which other MC book do you think they should make into a series?

I remember watching 'The Jump' along time ago, but I think 'Two Women', and Broken would make great ones.

OP posts:
Wilts · 24/06/2009 22:23

Bugger I forgot it was on tonight.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/06/2009 09:06

wilts it will be repeated again and again and again, check sky1 and sky 2 each night and then sky+ it (if you have it)

stressed2007 · 25/06/2009 09:09

Watched it. Fantastic.

I have a problem as I find Tom Hardy attractive - not the character at all but I do think he is very handsome {HIDES IN THE CORNER VERY NEARLY MIDDLE AGED MUMICON}

Rollergirl1 · 25/06/2009 13:25

I'm not sure if I find him attractive or not. He's got that pete docherty tweetie-pie lip thing going on and i think that puts me off him.

He is meant to be superb in the film 'Bronson'.

But also isn't he another one of these mockney geezers? That just happened to pull a spell as a homeless crack addict.

Bomper · 25/06/2009 14:26

Oooh he is a bit nice

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/06/2009 16:43

nope

just doesnt do it for me

fight among help yourselves ladies

mosschops30 · 25/06/2009 16:48

Can anyone tell me what the song was from the original adverts for The Take a few weeks ago, I cant get it out of my head but cant figure out what it is.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/06/2009 17:11

mosschops30 · 25/06/2009 17:14
