I watched it last week and have it on skyplus to watch tonight
which one is Clive Rowe?
i thought last week's went a bit too quick, one minute Neil Pearson and Sarah lancashire were happily married, the next he was off having an affair

Beetroot · 08/04/2009 14:38

Clive is the big black man with the amazing voice

God I thought it was a chronic load of old garbage !

NoBiggy · 08/04/2009 14:44

I watched it, and liked it.

But there are some cartoon baddies in it.

I thought it was awful! Tried to watch it but gave up. Good actors but a bloody terrible script. And Neil Pearsons voice kept going all weird.

noolia · 08/04/2009 15:23

Pearson's

frogwatcher · 08/04/2009 15:39

I loved it, and even dh who is all into alien, horror, scary stuff liked it. We need more feel good tv!!!

Beetroot · 08/04/2009 16:09

Script is obvious and muschy but so nice to see something that we can all watch
and my kids sing so that helps

I really enjoyed it, undemanding but enjoyable family drama.

Hi Beetroot, hope you are well. (Not sure if you remember me, gave you some marketing stuff once?)

womblingalong · 08/04/2009 19:42

thread killer again, duh!

wintera · 08/04/2009 21:14

I kind of liked it but I thought the over the top cartoon baddies were a bit rubbish to be honest. But I must say that I very much liked the nice young chap with the long hair! He was yummy!

Beetroot · 08/04/2009 21:16

oh hello
how are you - only just seen this

OP posts:
Katisha · 08/04/2009 21:27

Well I was frankly amazed at the way they managed to "improvise" a full blown fantastically harmonised and complete number just like that...

If only that could happen in our church choir... "Oh let's just see where it takes us!"

Harrumph.

Beetroot · 08/04/2009 21:41

MarmadukeScarlet · 08/04/2009 22:38

what was the song they were singing? And 'all the small things' from last week?

[out of touch old gimmer emoticon]

Plonker · 08/04/2009 22:40

Was going to ask the same thing Marmaduke - what was the song? It's fantastic! ...was still humming it for hours afterwards

Katisha · 08/04/2009 23:11

Oh they just made it up on the spot you know ...

chocolepew · 09/04/2009 10:29

It was All The Small Things by Blink 182.

Beetroot · 09/04/2009 10:31

lol Kat

it was toe curling and Clive Rowe and Annette Badlands terribly hammy. Every church cliche in the book, and as for the young bloke who can't talk, just sings, hilarious. Can't help watching it though.

Beetroot · 09/04/2009 12:26

lol ruty
it jsut feels safe and sweet and fun
