Another "do you know the name of..." - scary children's tv show - 80s

Ok. My memory of this tv show is hazy, as it scared the daylights out of me, so I have obviously blanked it from my memory...

It frightened me like The Owl Service and Chocky...

So, the 2 scenes I remember are:

• a girl is possessed (in some way) by the spirit of another girl who is somehow lost in time... She's been saying the "name" of this girl, but no-one understands, until she happens to be in a greenhouse (or something) and the window is steamed up; she writes the word she's been saying: and it's a girl's name, said/written backwards, which appears as a real name to the children standing outside.

• the children are in a church, and it's coming up to some critical time when the girl trapped in time is going to be released (?), and a huge bell falls from the tower onto the children - or perhaps just the girl? - and when it is removed, they're/she's gone.

Like I say, my memory of this is really poor, but these two scenes have stuck with me forever.

Help me! I know there must be someone out there who knows what I'm talking about... I need to purge myself of these scary memories!

Right then, if anyone can put a name to this programme I will be amazed.

I can only remember one scene, some children are in a large stately home type mansion, they decide to put on a show but they have no audience. They decide to stuff some clothes with newspapers and sit them on chairs as a pretend audience. They do their show, and when they finish, the 'audience' slowly start to applaud in a jerky fashion, kids realise their stuffed clothes have come to life and flee screaming ...... (I think the 'audience' may chase them out)

ugh, properly freaky.

Does anyone remember the Moon Stallion? A bit more late 70s I think, it was pretty frightening. I can still remember the theme music, but nobody remembers the programme

The Enchanted Castle I think? Adapted in 1979.

Many thanks Flight - that's the one. Sadly couldn't find any images on the net and it's not released on dvd but I may buy myself the book. Not sure why I'm so keen to see something that scared me so much though.
