He's slightly bonkers isn't he? I think his wife is very wise to distance herself from the whole thing as she seems to be doing.

I know it's going to be a holiday house, but that kitchen is too small and it's in the sitting room without a dining area in between. If I was building a house that big I'd make it just a little bigger so that there was a little more living space and a better kitchen.

I like the way that Kevin McCloud suggests they are mad in a subtle way, such as 'They are using an eclectic bunch of people for the build, made up of old workmates and family members' Yeah, eclectic reads loonies to me!
