absolutely loving it... i find myself chuckling and guffawing away!... and yet getting a little teary too!

anyone else get a little choked up as ruby and dorcas sat there with baby annie discussing (or not discussing) their childless situation!?

there's nothing better then putting the kiddies to bed, making yourself a cup of tea (and cutting a slice of cake!) and sitting back and enjoying! - except i have to watch it on iplayer as dancing on ice clashes!

It's perfect Sunday night viewing - it always takes the edge off Sunday nights (stops me focussing on Monday work).

I love it! I makes me cry, laugh and go soft inside. Dorcas Lane is a fantastic character, Julia Swalaha (or whatever it is) is just great.

I like it, although it does grate on me the way Julia Sawalha whispers the whole way through.

Oh and I also dislike the way the post office girl wobbles her head all the time.

Does anyone know where it's filmed? The location is gorgeous. I'm guessing Oxon/ Glos/ Wilts?

It reminds me a tiny bit - an English version - of Little House on the Prairie, which I always loved too()

The last ep of Larkrise I saw, Dorcas had stood for parish council & the Timminses had made up. I can probably see last Sunday's on Iplayer so it's just the 2 inbetween.
