absolutely loving it... i find myself chuckling and guffawing away!... and yet getting a little teary too!

anyone else get a little choked up as ruby and dorcas sat there with baby annie discussing (or not discussing) their childless situation!?

there's nothing better then putting the kiddies to bed, making yourself a cup of tea (and cutting a slice of cake!) and sitting back and enjoying! - except i have to watch it on iplayer as dancing on ice clashes!

sigh!

pellmell, you must live very near where I grew up, then

what people are saying about the tv series doesnt sound much like the book, though? I dont remember much love interest in it!

I love it too

I tell DH I won't be talking to anyone on the phone and sit and escape for an hour

I know Mark Heap who plays Thomas - that's why I started watching it - and he is a very nice chap with a lovely child. So be fans and help his career flourish - he deserves it.

I get the two older ones to bed and then snuggle up with the baby for a feed and a cosy Larkrise hour. Loved the bit the other week about not caring how many years there are behind us or how many days in front - we're here now.

Nothing to do with the book which I love too but this is feel good Sunday night telly at it's best!

i have just started the book, its as gentle as the series but the storylines are different

fisher is loooooooverly!

Absolutely LOVE Larkrise. As somebody already said - it is my one weakness!

Have to say though... I think that Laura's mum is really miscast. She doesn't look old enough. I know it's gentle escapism etc but surely they need to bring in at least one more functioning adult couple or else Laura's parents will have to have a silly falling out followed by a giggly making-up every blimmin week.

Lauras little tight lipped smile and head shaking thing should be available on the NHS! It cheers me up no end. Wish I got to shag that Irish whippersnapper too
