ER she is obviously a natural actress. I must admit the ad freaked me out at first, but I love it now. My 3 year old loves it and laughs all the way through it.

Ah well done to your DD, my two DCs love the ad, I think she has brought a smile to a lot of people this week.
Ignore the you tube messages they obviously not worth the time of your thoughts.

I love that ad! The kids are so cute - ignore the outrageously nasty comments, some people in this world complain and criticise as a hobby I think and would have said horrible things no matter who was cast!

educatingrita - is your DD in a Coldplay video as well?

I am especially excited you have given us some insider secrets as my DP and I have been trying to work out how they filmed it - we were both convinced that they could both wiggle their eyebrows like that and that they merely sped it up in post production!

I love that ad. She did really well, I'm glad that she is the child of an MNer lol. Tink loves it too, she squeals when it comes on and says "look" whilst pointing at her eyebrows and bopping. I think she is trying to figure it out so she can do it!

I also thought they might be related as they look so alike. I saw a behind the scenes where they spent a lot of time finding kids that looked alike.

Educating Rita - I love that advert, my DDs love that advert, all their friends love the advert and everyone I know loves that advert!!! Some children were trying to copy it in the playground last week which was hilarious.

Your Dd is a dead ringer for my neice in fact, sil has had people ask her if it is my neice!!

Please tell your DD she is very cool among all the children I know.

OMG i just went onto YOUTUBE, i haven't seen the whole advert. (which by the way is so funny and really cute)

Actually though after reading just a few pages of comments i am nearly in tears with anger, some people are sick and very disturbed, 2 commentis in particular really concerned me and if i knew of a way to complain about the i would.

I feel sick to my stomach........

educatingrita - Please don't read or take any notice of the youtube comments im sure you already know without us saying that your daughter is lovely, she has real charater and i think shes really pretty. Im sure you are very proud i would be if it were my child.

I'm not a fan of the advert. The bit where it's speeded up makes the kids look like they are just about to be sick to me - not an enticement to eat chocolate IMHO!

However, I'm shocked that people would write such horrible things about your DD, educatingrita. She looks like a very cool little girl. Now you come to mention it I remember her in Casualty too!

I love this advert and so does my DS he thinks it is hilarious. It think it is so funny that they have such straight faces, how did they not laugh. Excellent.

They are so funny. I think the best bit is when the girl looks straight at the camera and does "mean eyebrow face". And then the balloon.

(Most people who make nasty comments on Youtube are spotty oiks who have never had a girlfriend, so I'd just tune them out...)

If it made you feel sick and angry, imagine if that was your darling little girl they were talking about, it has been so very difficult for us to read people saying those things and calling her those names.
I know I know, I shouldnt read it and I wont ever go on there again after yesterday, it upset me too much. I feel I have no right to complain after putting her up for the ad and if you choose to put your child on TV then I guess youve made the decision to have them in th epublic eye and cant complain after but - naive as it may be I never in my wildest dreams expected the ones about stabbing her to death and calling her a whore and a "thing"
Having normal peoples opinion here helps a lot to put things into balance and I thankyou all so much for the nice things you have said about her, I will try to focus on those and not the horrible ones..

I love this advert too!!! It was my husband who drew my attention to it the first time. We think the children are so adorable. You are so blessed!!

Everytime this advert is on my husband shouts for me to come and watch it. Now, my two year old is addicted to it as well!!!

Im hoping to turn it aroung for myself and how negative its made me feel about the whole ad, by letting her do a sketch for Comic Relief.
The offer came through Cadbury and is to do with the ad, as it MEANT to be funny after all ; ) and they felt a link to Comic Relief would work.

I think if we do something for charity, obviously no fee and it can do some good and raise even £1 then the whole experince will be turned into something I can at least feel good about rather than crap!

Again, ive really appreciated hearing your nice comments, its made me realise that the average person on the street isnt like the nutters on there and most people dont hate her or think shes ugly- just the weirdo's who go on that website specificlly to cause a reaction.
