Wasn't the xmas day episode rubbish. It's always been good in the past but last night's was dire.

I liked it!

I really liked it too. The reclining on the sofas was a bit OTT.

I nearly cried watching Dave in his goggles with the black and decker and frozen turkey!

it was the first time I'd watched it.. and that was by accident.. I must admit I did laugh once or twice.. but won't be setting the sky + to catch it again!

I was disappointed - the last eisode when Nan died was so good that I had very high hopes and I thought it was a bit crap really. I think the joke of Denise being such a terrible housewife has worn a bit thin

the cup a soup starters, were very funny, as was the carrot crush with stork!! and david senior saying barbera.
me and dp enjoyed it.
(the baileys probably helped though!!)

Mustn't have been drunk enough and I agree that the Nan episode was fantastic so there just seemed to ba a big contrast.

SHe (caroline aherne) really must have spent time with my Il's this is exactly like them from the sitting around on the sofa to the FIL who treats his wife as a servant (the bit where he got his wife to open his present and then told her off for what she bought was straight out of my IL's) from the moving people around so you don't have to sit near them (MIL did this on our wedding day and no, I am clearly not over it ) to the being friends with people but slagging them off behind their backs.

Oh good god she must be related to me.

Did laugh when Dave kicked the turkey down the corridor and it slid on the laminated flooring.

I laughed. Am still smiling at 'Do we have a par boiler Dave?'
'No, we've got a combi-boiler.'

I was really disappointed too, vjg13. It just seemed a bit tired and I didn't see any of the warmth that had been in the last Xmas special. There were some funny bits but to me it dragged and it just wasn't up to the standard I was expecting.

I thought it was really good! Admittedly bit of a shame that some of the "regulars" were missing, but thought Denise's christmas dinner was v. funny- the turkey in the bath/ on the sunbed had me alternating between laughing and cringing (I am paranoid about giving people food poisoning!)

I got really bored of that turkey - it just seemed like something out of a mainstream sitcom to me - it just annoyed me! x

first half was better than second but worth a little chuckle.

I didn't think it was that funny and Dave's Dad wasn't at all like he'd been described before.

I think Denise should bring out her own cookbook.

Right I forgot to set the Sky plus, is it repeated?

We didnt enjpy it all the carrot thing and the 5p a carrier bag went on far to long the turkey thing was boring and what has sheila done to her eyes????

Oh, I loved it, found it really funny (until I fell asleep 10mins from the end )

I dont think yesterdays episode lived up to what had gone before.

Its one of those programmes that went out on a high with the queen of sheba episode (the one nana died in) and it should have been left there

I completely forgot about this!

Will it be shown again?

I thought it was really funny..
