I don't care who wins so long as it's not Rachel. I think her sob sorry line is crap. Why should I feel sorry for her because she was a drug addict who managed to produce 5 children and have 3 of them taken off her. Then end up in prison? She made her own choices and she should have to live with the consequences. Certainly doesn't warrant any special consideration or treatment. Why should her previous misguided actions give her any preference in a singing competition?
And something about her is giving her preferential treatment because even tone deaf me could tell her performance last week was not good yet none of those music industry expert judges heard it or had the guts to tell her.
If she has turned her life around and got off drugs then she does deserve a well done for that but that doesn't mean she should win a singing competition because of it.
Personally I think she has quite an unplesant 'hard' edge to her voice and her personality. Feel quite sorry for Danii and whoever else is trying to mentor her because I bet she's a nightmare and not someone you would want to upset.

Although Laura wasn't the worst singer has nobody noticed that she puts a 'h' in front of nearly every word she sings? It's really off-putting.

Kidditz well said- I Rachel is vile and can't quite understand why nothing was said about her singing on Sat which was unbelievably flat.

DH thinks she has the whole of the criminal underworld voting for her or perhaps a protection racket going with dodgy characters going round threatening-
"vote for Rachel if you want to keep your kneecaps!"

so what does it matter if daniel doesn't make it in the charts. Leon didn't either - but the xfactor number 1 always goes to no 1 so he will have had a number 1.

According to the press 50000 people have signed a petition ordering the return of rachel to xfactor

I read today the reason Laura wasn't voted for is because she is having a relationship with an X Factor employee.

It's widely being speculated in the press that diana is going to be booted out and Laura is going to be brought back, but that's also being denied.

I heard that Laura was coming back too. Hmm I don't think that is a good idea.

Oh my God, this thing with Laura is like mass hysteria! It's a show for goodness sake, the public vote and she sang poorly in the sing-off. She crucified somewhere over the rainbow! She should be embarrassed there's all this fuss going on.

So Diana is singing tonight? I do wonder about her. The "breaks" in her voice don't seem to come as naturally to her as they do to Amy Winehouse for example, and that yelping quality is very forced. Perhaps that's why she's been (apparently ) having problems sustaining it.

Any opinions while we're waiting? I'm interested.

I also think Diana's voice is forced and also wondered whether her throat problems were due to this.
