Anyone watching Dead Set tonight?

I'm quite excited, the advert looked good. We only get e4+1 though so I'll have to watch it later than everybody else.

a wee summary please !

um, zombies seemed to appear from nowhere. the all attacked the big brother house, including davina, our hero (i'm guessing) is that ray winstone's daughter who is the show's runner.

she managed to get into the (blissfully ignorant of the zombies) bb house. and a couple of the housemates were eaten by a zombie after opening the doors to the dark camera corridor when they didn't believe miss winston.

think that was it so far.

loved the big appearance by ashleen. i'm sure something is going on with her and charlie brooker.

After watching this, DH has finally seen the wisdom in having a zombie plan. Unfortunately, his plan is rubbish (run to the pub) so we're doomed. Sigh....

Not a hugely original show, no, but just the kind of stuff I love, heh heh heh!!

Well I think dh's now needs revising as he didn't think zombies could run this fast!!

Though we now know they can't climb even the smallest of gates, so that could be used.

yeah- can't climb/ open doors and water sends them into fits. But they can run really fast

I think we need to tell the writer he may have a few zombie facts wrong

oh god i just found this thread...i thought i was mental having a zombie escape plan!!! did anybody hear about a sheriff in america who had been stockpiling chainsaws in case of a zombie attack?!
did anyone lol when that fat producer escaped the toilet cubicle and the guy in the wheelchair tried to attack him? i love a good zombie outbreak!

I quite like the fact that a window/door/v/low fence keeps them away from you, makes me feel safer for when thezombie attack does happen.

I can't think of a zombie plan because there has not been an accurate representation of them yet - can they open doors? do they run mega fast a la 28 days later. I need some consitencey so I can plan!

Well dh says they don't run fast, but I think he has not done enough research. He thinks he can just walk through them with a baseball bat and defeat them all

I disagree with that. However the common denominator with all zombie films seems to be the lack of brains, so as long as your plan is smart, you can survive.
