Fraggle Rock!!

DeathByMonkey · 31/10/2008 07:37

There was this European programme called Silas about a boy who had a black horse that assorted baddies tried to steal - it was awful but I loved it!

Red Hand Gang was cool, as was Press Gang and Battle of the Planets (BIL gave my ds the box set but he just doesn't appreciate its brilliance. I blame DisneyPixar)

Not so much characters but Crackerjack was quite good, and there was this weird sci-fi thing, I think it was called The Adventure Game, does anyone remember this? They had to find their way round a maze and find different shaped tokens, then the finale was having to cross the Vortex. Scared the absolute bejaysus out of me but it was absolutely brilliant!

I loved Dogtanion. It used to be shown in its entirety in the Summer holidays and I used to sit there with my brothers and watch the whole thing. I now have it on DVD for dd and realise that my mum ust have been so keen fro us to watch it because it is hours and hours long. It is (and I hate to admit it now) a bit shit dated though.
And I looooooooved Willy Fogg. I think I must have something for TV shows with catchy theme tunes (latest hit in this house is Wonder Pets)

bluebump · 01/11/2008 11:41

Dungeons and Dragons for me too DANCESwithLordPsGhost - we used to play it as kids all the time. I sent off to Andy Crane when he presented on BBC and got the lyrics to Cities of Gold and a picture of the programme once, I can't remember why that seemed worth it at the time but i've still got it somewhere. I've got a Gordon the Gopher puppet/toy in the loft too.

ALMummy · 02/11/2008 15:40

Hartley Hare. Can't remember the programme but I loved him.
