Peter Kay Comeback?

I read an article a couple of months ago about Peter Kay bringing out a new series for Channel 4 in October. Its not Phoenix Nights, but more of a take on society like 'That Peter Kay Thing' was.

Has anybody heard anything about this new series, and when it is due on air?

I read something about that too, don't know the exact details though. Hope he's still as good as he used to be.

I've come back on this thread because I saw a very fleeting advert for the new show Peter Kay is in. Thanks for that Bluesky cause the advert was so short I did not know what the show was about. Looking forward to it now I don't suppose you know when it is on do you?

The ads for this on channel 4 are well strange. Just Peter Kay dressed as a woman with a ginger wig on! Weird!

Mrs Mills - It is a 3 part drama with Steve Coogan, who plays a gambling addict. Written by Craig Cash (Dave in Royale Family) and Caroline Aherne is making a mini appearance.

It's brilliant in an excrutiating, watching through my fingers kind of way - but PK has observed everything brilliantly. Pete Waterman's doing a fine job.

DH and I enjoying this; it is so close to te truth of those shows too - had to endure the year long well it felt that long) X Factor last night - think talent on this show is better than that, lol!
