Another Dexter thread! How is he going to get out of this one then?

I think he'll apply the code to Lila and do her in but can't think how he'll solve the problem with Doakes. He can't kill him and he's going to blab. Any other ideas Dexter fans? I know there aren't that many of us!

We are fans too. It seems so wrong to like a serial killer though, but he's so nice in other ways

That was our big question too cornsilk, especially as I didn´t know there was going to be a third season when we watched it.

Of course it´ll be a big surprise.

I've read the dexter episode guide, i was so desperate to know what happened.

I really didn't 'get' her character to begin with but now I do.
I also like Doakes. Both he and Rita's dead husband were in National Treasure - saw it on Sunday and me and dh were 'oooh they're from Dexter!' Ds was asking ' What's Dexter?' We didn't like to say tooo much about our serial killer obsession!

My DH gives a running commentary while it's on, "do you think he's going to be arrested? What's going to happen? How is he going to cover this? Is he going to kill her/him?" It does my head in.

I love dexter although the office keep having a poll as to whether I am more like Lila or Debs

So my theory is, Lila pieces it together and kills Doakes so that Dexter wants her.

Lila then will out Dexter but nobody will believe her as everyone will know she's a nutter after trying to frame Angel (lovely Angel)

That's my theory.

Of course.. who bloody knows. I'm just hoping it's not a massive anti-climax at the end of the 3rd series.

There's only 3 books so am assuming the 3rd series will be the last although it seems the series has digressed from the book a fair bit in this sereies (so I've heard)

I think Lila will torch the car and the cabin, destroying all the evidence and maybe herself. Can't think how Dexter could get away with it though, surely nothing will stop Doakes.

Oh yeah, something like that. She's an arsonist after all. She will want to get rid of Doakes 'cos she's so obsessed with Dexter.

Well all I can say is forget using the books as a way of finding out! They just about followed the first book for the first series but are way off them now.

Pleeease dont anyone tell, but I am with MAscara, only I reckon Dex can then kill Lila and say she found out Doakes was hunting him as he is the butcher and killed him and Dex was trying to save him.

If that makes any sense at all!

I've always held the theory that Harry is Dexters real father and that's why he took him on and not the brother.

I wonder if Lila is a bit of red herring sometimes.

Do we know when the next series is starts yet?

and is anybody planning to give "Breaking Bad" a whirl when Dexter finishes?

i LOVE dexter!!

have really enjoyed the seriesm though I read the books before hand (which are FAB)

but

they dont stick entirely to the stories

for exmaple in book,dexters girlfiren was really scared of her ex hubby and no way would talk/chat to him

also I know how doakes get shut up, if you have read the book, you will also know

next series, if they do the book, will be bloody excellent!!!!
