Another Dexter thread! How is he going to get out of this one then?

I think he'll apply the code to Lila and do her in but can't think how he'll solve the problem with Doakes. He can't kill him and he's going to blab. Any other ideas Dexter fans? I know there aren't that many of us!

I also think Harry is his father.
Wonder if Doakes has committed a crime which Dexter uncovers and does a deal with him?

depending if they stick to the books for next series, though as mascarahara and chirpygirl said, they dont really follow them

and then we will see what happened to doakes - unless they kill him off in this series,but then they cant do the next book

I think that it would be too obvious to kill off Doakes. There needs to be a twist.

I think Lila will kill Doakes to try and get Dexter back too. Then he will kill her because she fits the code!

I'm off to watch this weeks episode on catch up tv in a bit.

Hmm is it wrong to lust after a serial killer? Well he wouldn't kill me, I don't fit the code

I hope they don't kill him off Mascara, do they do that in the books?

I found a good clip for series three somewhere, if I find it I'll post it here.

I've purposely not read the books as I know the series isn't that closely tied to the books in series 2 and 3 and I don't want to spoil it by constantly thinking they've done it wrong.

The books are a lot darker than the series afaik

I can't find dexter attractive. he was in 6ft under wasn't he.. nice bod but has a funny looking face (i think). Also he looks short

Mascara!! How can you not fancy him? I didn't watch 6ft under though. He does have a bit of a funny face but I don't know there is something about him.

Don't expect it to have a happy ending but thought he might get caught and banged up, not killed off!
Will have to find that clip.

Just watched this week's recorded episode. Dh and me agog as to how they'll work it out! I think Mascara's probably right.

Either Lila or Doakes will have to survive to be the "hangover" into the next series, surely?

Now I've seen it I think that Lila will survive, don't know why I just think they will keep her around to keep Dex on his toes.

OOhh a Dexter thread, thought I was the only person who watched it. I'm reading the third book at the moment - but the books have a totally different plot to the series. I think Lila will kill Doakes (but have no evidence of this).

suprised how much you get to see lilas breasts - she is always flaunting them, and thought she was a good enough actress not to have to get her clothes off - love her in hustle!!!

whole series isnt a book,they never found the bags of bodies, ie making a whole series out of being bayside butcher and bare boobs!!!
