Am I the only person who still can't get over The Doctor and Rose?

So why do I feel like crying every time I think about this?! Bloody Russell T. Davies... why is everybody scared to write a happy ending these days?! [sulk]

yes, because her last memory before meeting the doctor was walking down the aisle. So even if he went right back to there, and got rid of Adipose and the whole deal, surely she'd not just wake up from a nice sleep and forget she'd been engaged?

Wouldn't the first call she made be to the stocky bald black bloke? And as someone apparently obsessed with Pop Culture, wouldn't she be wondering where last year's Big Brother had gone?

"What happened to my fiancee, Grandad?"

"Oh, erm, um, he got, um, well, not destroyed by a giant spider, definitely not"

I wanted the end to somehow involve Donna bumping into that guy from the library. And then we would know she'd have a happy ending. The one she got, like her storylines, was a bit rushed and a bit slapdash.

It felt like after Rose and Martha they couldn't be bothered writing for a companion yet Donna could have been the best one as she wasn't horny over you-know-who all the time "Oh look aliens (hmmmm, look at yoooouuuu.)"

TwoIfBySea , that would have been a far better ending.
