I'm only half paying attention to the Blockx/Cerundolo match- they are only a few games in. Blockx has already ha an MTO , Fran has been getting stroppy with his team- and it sounds likeTim thinks they are both playing badly .

I’m pleased Mirra is through, although not at the expense of an injury. Disappointed for Iga but Qinwen is having a great tournament!

I was getting bored of the Cerundolo match, wandered off to watch 'Only Connect'.

Naomi Osaka's latest walk on outfit looks like a flying carpet with a fur trim.

Elena looked like 'hmm'.

She must have run out of tulle.

Osaka has walked onto court wrapped in what looks like a tatty old quilt made from offcuts. She looks utterly ridiculous.

Rybakina, on the other hand, has walked onto court looking like an athlete.

I missed Naomi’s walk on outfit - they’ve looked a bit Dystopian for the US Open - I do like the kit that she’s playing in though - it has all got a bit silly - everyone looked better at Wimbledon in their all white kits

Today , Naomi was wearing a big coat/cloak thing with a fake (hopefully) fur trim that looked like a tapestry/ rug- really - over the white version of the basket ball kit dress.

Fabio was basically saying- stop with the stupid outfits and just get on with the game (since he could rely on being a good looking bloke, and didn't need gimmicks).

To be honest, with , 4 slams under her belt , Naomi shouldn't be relying on gimmicks either.

I am glad Elena is winning.
