I'm pleased to see Stef is doing well- he plays Shelton next, so that's a bit of a task, not least because of the crowds, but it's something he's used to .

Sascha Zverev is the second night match again on Ashe. He will be hoping Jovic/Eala don't get into a massive battle - and he will definitely want his own match wrapped up quickly. But Tabilo has form of his own for upsets.

Feel a bit sorry for Sascha. I can't believe he's asking for the last night match every time, so why are they scheduling it

Poor Tim is getting very disturbed by the the pre-match discussions . Lengthy talks on weed and nipples. I think he wants to disappear until talk turns to actual tennis.

Gigi and Martina are loving it .

Madison Keys was serving at 5-1 in the 3rd set of her match against Qinwen Zheng.

Zheng is now serving for the match at 6-5. It's been a huge turnaround.

I just put it on a few minutes ago to see Madison whacking herself on the head

Yes, Keys hitting herself on the head was a bit dramatic. I do feel sorry for her- it was a bizarre match.

It’s been a bad day for the Americans. Amanda and Madison both lost and now Taylor is struggling.

I think Sascha probably is stuck playing the late slot now. If he played day session he wouldn’t have enough recovery time.

Flavio is also having a difficult time against Blockx.

Just catching up - I saw the score in Madison’s match earlier and thought she had it sewn up! Wonder what went wrong.

Ijust switched over- to see Taylor have a broken lace and now Cerundolo has the break to serve for the match.

We’ve had a good but very hot day at the Rafa tournament - unfortunately no sightings of the man himself!

Lajal has got rid of the dreadlocks and he lost his match - DS2’s GF caught a ball and threw it back onto the court even though the umpire signalled not to - it then hit a ball boy on the head - we probably won’t be allowed back

They also had ice sausages in the on court freezer - I could have done with one!
