Well seeing as I did the threads last year I might as well kick things off again for 2026 now that the first teaser trailer has dropped.

If you haven’t seen it, watch here:

As a reminder, here’s the line up:

  • Amol Rajan – Journalist and Broadcaster
  • Bella Ramsey – Actor
  • James Acaster – Comedian and Podcaster
  • James Blunt – Singer/Songwriter
  • Jerry Hall – Model and Actress
  • Joanne McNally – Comedian
  • Joe Lycett – Comedian
  • Julie Hesmondhalgh – Actor
  • King Kenny – Content Creator
  • Leigh-Anne Pinnock – Singer/Songwriter
  • Maya Jama – Broadcaster and Entrepreneur
  • Michael Sheen – Actor and Presenter
  • Miranda Hart – Actor and Author
  • Myha’la – Actor
  • Professor Hannah Fry– Broadcaster and Mathematician
  • Richard E. Grant – Actor and Author
  • Rob Beckett – Comedian
  • Romesh Ranganathan – Comedian
  • Ross Kemp – Actor and Presenter
  • Sebastian Croft – Musician and Actor
  • Sharon Rooney – Actor

I’m guessing we’ll get 2 women and 1 man as the initial Traitors and hoping the Secret Traitor has been binned.

Will the Big Dog Theory come back? Will we get another Nick/Joe style bromance?

Feel free to espouse your theories on how it might play out.

if they don’t all vote for Richard at the first round table, I’ll be baffled

Saucery · Yesterday 20:12

In a strange twist of fortune, Julie is already getting on my tits (gossipy, too obsequious) and Joe is growing on me (can’t stand him usually).

Why are they (nearly) all wearing fancy jackets? - fluffy, fringed, leather, gilet, pink?

Sponsored probably.

Me too. So unconvincing.

What colour is Claudia

CaveMum · Yesterday 20:12

Look surprised James FGS!

Exactly. They have nothing to go on this early so it's an easy reason to choose someone.

They always forget the obvious and get distracted by something silly instead once it comes to round tables. I wouldn’t be surprised if he survived it.

Piggywaspushed · Yesterday 20:12

Oh, I love Joe!

Saucery · Yesterday 20:13

Oooh, big hint from Claudia there, saying Amol was a good player.

Very much agree!

StacyFromCroydon · Yesterday 20:13

Claudia's very American tan tights

Whisperwaves · Yesterday 20:13

I usually root for the Traitors but I wouldn't be sorry to see Richard go.

MrsMitford3 · Yesterday 20:13

Claudia-paratrooper on the bottom-libriarian on the top

In a good way. Sort of the sartorial equivalent of a mullet

Yes I winced a bit at that.

Fair enough if Rob jokes about his own face but that doesn’t make it fair game for everyone else.

But that is what Rob does - its one of his "things", much like people will mention a comedian's catchphrase.

Starter for 10! 🤣🤣

jumpintheline · Yesterday 20:14

You know they bring them all into breakfast in small groups.

They always save the two or three shortlisted to be murdered or recruited until last. To build the tension for viewers at home.

Why don’t the players know this or point it out? Surely enough of them have seen the show.

It seems obvious to me that Bella and James coming in last, one of them must have been recruited.

Depends what happens during the day. Someone could do something perceived to be traitorous.

The teeth comment was rude.

He's always making fun of his teeth though himself!

RainbowSnake · Yesterday 20:15

James doesn’t have a clue how to deflect does he? No wonder he wanted to be faithful.

friedaklein · Yesterday 20:15

Julie's clever.

ShhhYouDontKnowMe · Yesterday 20:15

James is going to be a terrible traitor!

They explained this once , said they refilm breakfast several times.

Not sure that makes sense though, unless they all act after the first take.

OK wasn't expecting that

Looks like they are getting rid of any real brains!

AlwaysRightISwear · Yesterday 20:16

Richard may survive one round table bc they think he's just too obvious but he won't make it much longer. James clearly isn't made to be a traitor if he's trying to do it without lying.
