I really disliked that section with Ravi attacking Max. I am very glad Ravi is leaving, he has become unbearable.

It has crossed my mind that the baby is Ravi's, and the tests got mixed up. Max and Ravi were tested consecutively and Jean is a bit of a liability so could have muddled them up. Surely at some point soon Ravi is going to click, and ask Priya to have a(nother) test.

80s I think you are giving them too much credit thinking Linda's sudden love for Max has been rushed through because she's leaving - this producer drops in rubbish plot points from nowhere all the time! I think Linda is kidding herself about Max anyway, if she spent more than a fortnight with him she'd want to kill him!

I thought today’s episode was good, the stag do had me laughing out loud. It’s almost as if everyone is improvising scenes at the mo and catching each other off guard, like Nic didn’t seem on script today when asking them to calm it down and that was funny. Nor did Max and Priya in the car lot with Nugget, absolutely hilarious but I think it was off script.

I’m all for Linda and Max, although I’d rather Linda and Phil fall in love but I’ve accepted the ship has sailed. I just love the softness of her.

Shelling, true ! Her turnaround is weird though.
She finds out next week that he was seeing Priya. I bet she tells Cindy .. but that is a big guess. Or maybe she threatens to tell Cindy! I have a feeling they don’t get married , but who knows for sure ?

There was a kind of ad lib today wasn’t there. Oscar did look like he’d been drinking and the nugget scene was really natural , maybe they are being given more freedom ? Also, hottest summer ever known and none of them seem to be in summery clothes. They must film early mornings or evening time. It was still hot at that time , but the clothes don’t seem to change much.

Wasn’t it said though that she asked to leave last year but was persuaded to stay on for a big storyline, so a rushed rewrite wouldn’t be necessary.

Oh right, didn’t know that about Linda.
It is a weird turn by her , but they do have the invisible Annie and had an affair previously.

Are all the men thick in EastEnders. Can't believe Ravi wouldn't even ask if the baby was his. Clive seems like a decent man and Linda knows happily ever after doesn't exist with Max Branning.

It’s not just the men that are thick, but the women are too! Linda certainly is to declare undying love for him and having a stag the night before the wedding went on years ago and not anymore ! Madness

Goodness, if it was RL would anyone set up home with Ravi? When he first appeared in EE he was a thug in prison, when he was released he was still dealing drugs, blackmailing Denise and then briefly falling in love with her, imprisoning Harry and getting him hooked on Class A drugs, a mental breakdown and holding siege to a chemist shop, now imprisoning and torturing Max, what next, he's quite a catch !

Ravi also beat up his own son thanks to Nicola.

He's a hypocrite. Priya had a shag as a single woman not really the same league as the things he's done.

Ravi has too cute a face to be a hard nosed thug, but it seems to work and the actor makes him believable.
I think his more theatrical background works for him too to make the ridiculous seem normal behavior!
He is a hypocrite, he tried to bed Denise once and she was married to Jack and Jack. Luckily she didn’t ( probably wouid have become pregnant if she had gone ahead lol )

I was wondering today could there be two weddings on NYD? Max and someone (Cindy or Linda) and then Jack and Denise - renewing vows or remarrying (can’t remember if they actually got divorced or not) once she’s recovered from Cancer. That would explain the dress on the back of the door, Chelsea cleaning a veil, libby being there, why Jack has his wedding ring out etc.

Jack and Dee are married. They had a civil ceremony and it was very low key ( unlike the photos I’ve seen of Kim’s do !)

Yes they were civil partnered but did they sign the divorce papers? And even if they didn’t, maybe they are having a “proper” wedding now - wouldn’t stop them having a row beforehand!

No, might be a renewal going on.
After he gets max out of custody and helps him rescue Lauren and Oscar maybe ! 🤔

Pretty sure they got divorced. There was a bit of will they/won’t they and then they signed the papers after a big argument about their respective affairs with Ravi and Stacey. I’m almost certain Denise referred to him as her partner (rather than husband) recently.

Oh no. Max has many sides to him, he shows Linda the kindness side of himself. He couldn't sustain that longterm, he'd find her sweetness boring, try find another Stacey or Priya,
I can't see him in a committed way with anyone.
He is a two women kind of man. 😅

Max can convince any woman he loves her. He can even convince himself for a while. But he will never change. If he got with Linda he’d be shagging someonelse within a month.

I used to be a Ravi fan, he had good light and shade. But now he’s just a thug. And all that ‘you know how triggered I get when people lie’ - wtf? He spent his entire life lying to Priya about his drugs empire.

Thinking about the NYD episode there’s less than 4 months so max can’t get married now then again in 4 months even by EE standards, linda looked sad on the FF so presumably she really has fallen for him sad he’s marrying then goes off on a world cruise or something never to return

but also in 4 months we have to get through an attempted murder and whatever max saves the younger kids from, a bust up with Chelsea and Nic, Ian getting out of prison and potentially Kat losing the vic no seeds have been sown for any of that!

If max can save Jimmy and Ethan , he can save his own children and I bet he does. It may be Ravi with his kids. Why would anyone want to kidnap a baby and a toddler though ? What can result in this set up happening?
It’s all so bizarre.

I am assuming that tbe babies are kidnapped. It may be that they are in the pub and he rescues them there from some thing like that.
Only one window boarded up , so it can’t be that bad and it isn’t burnt down.
