I think there's a series all week, starting tomorrow evening, on Channel charting the ATP world no1s since the '70s, or something along those lines.

I also love the first play of the Wimbledon theme tune - can’t wait! The BBC had better not mess with that or I’ll be very cross!

His Dad will probably still be lurking in the background - it’s all a bit sad really - Stef showed such good promise a few years ago

I was watching the 'ancient' pot smashing one again earlier- Zizou was loving that one

I put Stef in the same group as Sascha Zverev really- (though Sascha is a couple of years older.) There was a lot of pressure to win big- he beat Roger in a slam, people got excited... he got to a final- he's done well. But it still hasn't happened.

Emma R has withdrawn from Wimbledon - I’m not surprised really - she’s got a stress fracture and hasn’t really been training this week

Yes, she left it as late as she could before withdrawing.

I watched the first part of the Rafa documentary this evening. I don't know how he had the career that he did. Not only was he always injured physically but the mental strain of keeping the extent of the problems quiet, whilst never knowing if the next tournament will be your last!! It would have broken many people but Rafa's fortitude was amazing!!

Just watching Breakfast telly at Wimbledon - they’ve managed to find some weirdo Djokovic fans already!

I found the Rafa doc sad too, Fizzy- I might re-watch it, on Blue Monday, when Wimbledon is over and I'm refusing to do anything useful .

I have not updated my 'Ailment of the Tournament' bingo card for Djok yet- I'm not sure we've not had yet this year. Have we have 'Issue with contact lens' yet?

I have a few things to do today, which is not great timing, but I am going to try and make sure I am not out too long. At least it's a lot cooler today.

It's not the same without Carol Kirkwood doing the weather at Wimbledon .
