Is anyone watching the reruns of the Waltons on Great Tv? I’m loving it. I haven’t seen it since the 1980s.

I used to watch that when I was in the 6th form. (A lot of us did as only 4 channels.)
I wouldn't mind rewatching it

I absolutely LOVE the waltons especially the early series. The later ones wheree the mum goes out of it and john boy etc aren't so good .
But I could watch it over and over.

I've been watching the whole lot again for maybe the 4th time! I first watched it when I was at school in the 70s. Today's episode about Verdi's daughter was really sad and thought-provoking.

My favourite was Erin, she always seemed a bit overlooked in the family.

I just looked up GreatTv, 'Little House on the Prairie' is on there too!

I've got the boxset of DVDs somewhere. No longer have a DVD player though.

Used to be on at 8:10 on Monday nights.

I used to watch this on a Sunday morning in the 80s, I absolutely loved it and had a massive crush on John Boy. These days Daddy Walton is looking quite good

My brother and I named our guinea pigs after 2 of them, Jason and Jim-Bob. Loved the series on Monday nights. Even remember the theme tune

He has a knowing kind of twinkle all right…

I loved the early series.

Good theme tune, and as the credits rolled it’d always seem odd that Ma was played by an actress named Michael.
Her iron plugged into the light socket always fascinated me too.😂
