Yes, I reckon it is very unlikely.

Mind you, the tour had been cut dramatically short. It was supposed to be six weeks.

Rhubarb01 · 18/03/2026 21:54

Is Georgie safe?

Yeah, and we reckon it lasted a week 😄

Meanwhile Abu/Jason is back in town.

I know where that cafe is. Gave me a double take when I saw it.

Looking forward to next exciting week - when Dr Dull and Mum get even more annoying.

I do too.

Rhubarb01 · 18/03/2026 21:57

Elvis won't give up, there's Jamie and lo and behold, Jason is winging past on the tram overhead.

All is well in the world!! Apparently.....to be continued.

I had some food in place across the street from it once. It's window logo is rather eye catching Smile

Well managed a few miserable posts. So annoying Mind you I don’t know whether I’ve reached the stage where I have watched this too often but I seemed to be picking holes in it all the time. Very inconsistent behaviour from Georgie in bed with Elvis and making it look as if all is forgiven and then in the arms of Dr D straightaway. Seemed a bit staged so that it could last for another two episodes. I am sounding cynical now so will go to bed. Not with you next week but will be on 1st April for last episode.

I don't think we ever really got to the bottom of some of the strange story choices and the editing on this episode was particularly confusing. Perhaps it's just a reflection of Georgie's conflicted emotions after finally confronting Elvis again and trying to deal with the aftermath of her ordeal. We all knew it was never going to work with poor old Jamie, who didn't really deserve this situation, and just wanted her to make her mind up quicker Grin

Would we be ok to do the last episode any day except Wed 1/4? At your mercy ladies......

Rhubarb01 · 18/03/2026 23:16

I can do any day that week.

Thursday or Friday best for me that week.
Agree that the continuity in that episode is bad, and I have never understood what story Tony Grounds was trying to tell. I have read, in articles about the series, that Elvis is ‘a lovable rogue’. Lovable, yes, rogue, no. He comes across as actually quite serious and responsible, even if one decision, made under duress, has fairly disastrous implications. I always wondered about Debby ‘just’ turning up with the baby when she did. That seems more than a tad spiteful to me.

Magi84 · 19/03/2026 08:36

Thursday 2nd or Friday 3rd only days I could do in that week

You have hit it on the head there eejit not knowing what story Tony Grounds was trying to tell is exactly what I wanted to say but didn’t quite get it so succinctly as you have.

Ilovelblue · 19/03/2026 21:11

The Friday is Good Friday so shall we go for Thursday 2 April?

Magi84 · 19/03/2026 22:06
