He did. I'd like to see any English speaking head of state deliver a whole speech like that in another language though! We have high expectations of other's when it comes to speaking English yet how many English speakers can speak another language to any decent level?

The Olympic speech writers have to just add the odd different word or change the sentences around a bit.
