Opening ceremony tonight, from 6.30pm on BBC2. Surprised it’s not on BBC1.

I am not fan of the colour of the Italian outfits.

It's a bit utilitarian.

Don’t forget Team GB went for Shell Suit Chic in 2012. Very disappointing from Stella.

I think Italy should have just gone with those lovely Armani suits from the OC catwalk section.

Also, and I hate to say it, a bit N-word 😯

I thought the Italians would be in red or something bright.

They said earlier that Armani was involved in the design of the outfits- but died last year.

Not sure what happened to the ideas he came up with - unless that was it !

I like the ice hockey men’s baggy knitted ecru shorts. (Chamonix?) I wonder if they will have a revival.

My son walked in when the graphics were on and was very cross that it looked like AI slop.

Maybe somebody spilt coffee on them and they just went with that.
