Well, we soared through the last thread again, so here's a shiny new one!

Corrie is pretty much based around the tragic death of Billy at the moment. Bernie is starting to lose the plot a bit, and ended up in a hotel room with a strange man who is the husband of someone Roy has been chatting to. (It's all a bit confusing!!!) Then she ended up unconcious in the ladies toilets!

Todd and Theo are still together - annoyingly - and Carl (Debbie's brother) has just heard Theo blabbing to Billy in his coffin how he's not a murderer, and he should have saved him, and so on. A guilty conscience, or self pity? (I'm guessing the latter.) Carl was listening (conveniently!) and smirked when he heard Theo 'confessing,' but I'm not sure what he's going to do with the information. Especially as shortly after, Theo saw Carl doing some dodgy dealing with some blokes, and he photographed him. So, they now have 'something' on each other!

Not much happening with the Driscolls at the moment, and Ma Driscoll and Eva have called a truce. But for how long???

Shona and David's new little baby (Harper) is still a bit fragile.

Shiny faced Megan Trainer the Siren who has men (and boys) eating out of her hand, is showing an unpleasant, dark side, after practically threatening Sam (Nick's son) if he blabs anything about her and Will.

And Carla and Lisa have inexplicably made up, as if nothing has happened. On the plus side however, at least we have got rid of the dreadful Undead Becky storyline.

Probably some more bits and bobs to discuss, but I'm sure we'll get to them soon.

Yeah, I'd have said the Brody actor was about 22-23. The Betsy actress however looks 17 (to me!) But she's 25 wow! She even sounds young (like mid-late teens) especially when she goes all Betsy-Lamb. 🐑

I am just not interested enough in Shona to want to know more about her family. She has been going downhill since that stupid brain injury story, especially when they turned her bluntness into another silly comedy routine. Now she just seems constantly rude and a tad aggressive, she was going on at David yesterday then at Jodie. I have no idea why they are giving her all this long lost family nonsense stuff on top of the new baby especially as it comes with all the boring baggage of a back story

The Brody actor just seems like the sort of lad who is never out the gym, perhaps they could put that into the plot?

I agree Shona isn't that interesting. The only interest really is because she's with David so he needs to be front and centre of the storylines. If her sister had been anything but a villain this could have gone somewhere, but it's a dead end. And Shona is conspicuously unbothered about her ill premature baby.

Jodie is such a pouty miserable one. She wants David I think. She seems sneaky and a liar.

Audrey needs to keep an eye on her. When Audrey or Rita call a wrong un Laydy their game is over.
Gail really shouldn't have gone to France.

Wonder if Mal is going to be another bad'un or not? He seems down to earth and honest, so far!

Mal has a lot more chemistry with Bernie than Dev does.

I will be amazed if Mal is not a villain. He is very keen on Bernie so at the very least he'll try to break her up with Dev, but nowadays that probably isn't villainous enough for Corrie, so he'll burn the cafe down or run amok with a firearm.

I think he's got wrong'n written all over him. Most new characters are dodgy in some way.

Happy to be proved wrong though.

Not heard much in the way of noise with the electrics. They have to take up floorboards , usually.
I doubt he has any idea what he is doing .. but Roy seems to trust him.

Bernie and Mal do seem a bit more compatible.
She isn’t that interested though. For now .

Yes we don't know if Alice does exist or if Mal was 'Alice'. But there is some wrongdoing happening for sure, he arrived in such an odd way.

Why do they all end up in the same prison, on the same wing? I know a few people who’ve been sent down and they were put in prisons all over the country, and moved every few months. On Corrie, whenever someone is in prison there’s always someone else from the street in the same place at the same time.

Max moved prison. Far away from Frankeh and Lauren and everyone. I think he wanted to move. Despite his undying love for Lauren.

I have never 'got' Dev and Bernie, they just don't work IMO.

Practically next door to one another in the prison. Debbie's little helper being Lou, just made me go 🙄

Is there some history between Debbie and Lou? I'm just wondering why the instant hatred as soon as they clapped eyes on each other.

Agree. Ridiculous pairing.
It kind of worked as a one night stand, but that’s where it should have been left.

I vaguely remember something to do with Debbie passing out in the ginnel (with her first TIA maybe?) and Mick being said to be involved. Oh, wait a minute, had she gone to his back door to complain about noise he was making, something like that?
