Welcome to Thread 11 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

I think Faraaz didn't like it when Rachel approached him and said you're 22, are you trying to get rid of all the older ones. She was trying to flush out her enemies, but he was too well liked for that.

I don’t like those kind of snidey remarks she makes. She did similar to Matthew at breakfast and then fake laughed afterwards.

And Ross! “How was Hugo in the turret”

Liquoriceallsortsmadear · 23/01/2026 14:57

She lets herself down with the snidey remarks

Oh I thought the opposite and wondered why people didn’t bring it up

Actually projectile vomiting green bile (according to one of the players who saw him), like in The Exorcist...? As part of a traitor strategy to sabotage the task?

Was "bring it up" deliberate 😜

Not sure what your saying

given what they bring up (the most uncharitable things - you were sweating - you gasped - you didn’t tie boat up as a sailor would) I can well see someone questioning it - maybe aside after the task

The traitors choosing to murder Roxy and not Faraaz is what will ultimately cost them, Roxy never suspected Rachel and Stephen as Traitors but they chose to murder her. Makes me wonder if producers are interfering as makes no logical sense to have done that.

Yeah I agree it was a really odd decision and not really explained. Faraaz was the only sensible choice but it made for good TV when he appeared at breakfast the next morning.

The pp is asking if the pun was deliberate! They were joking!

It’s her FBI type training!
I didn’t like them either, including asking Ross about being in the turret. I know it’s part of her traitor job but am annoyed that people (looking at you Roxy!) have taken this all to be oh so chummy.
Hope Faraz also remembers the “I’m your traitor mummy” hug.

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 15:11

I think Stephen had no choice but to discuss Rachel with the others otherwise he would start to look suspicious.

I don’t know how anyone can believe James is a traitor. It makes me laugh thinking of it. He’d be saying I’m going to murder you tonight, sorry.

I think what rachel
was saying in the turret was - we will need to respond if someone brings us up more directly than before - and Stephen misinterpreted it and is going round starting conversations about Rachel!

Well party because he doesn’t trust her but he has to not look associated with her either for his own safety.

It’s so cringey 🥴 the “fBi training” and I’ve been “trained by FBI”

rather….shes been on a communications training that was facilitated by someone who had historical connections to FBI a few hours a week

He doesn’t need to start rumours about her!

that isn’t what she meant

Liquoriceallsortsmadear · 23/01/2026 15:17

I think Stephen felt he had to stick to “I will never write your name on my board” last night

I think Rachel is sticking to that as she seems to prize integrity

if he had written her name she’d be gone and I think the game
would have been stopped while he was in

I’m saying it doesn’t matter what she meant. It’s getting down to the wire now and if she gets banished he’s going to come under scrutiny for not ever mentioning he suspected her so he has to do it.

Totally agree. She sneakily provokes. I wonder if that’s why Harriet lost the plot. She was doing similar to James last night.

Nope he doesn’t need to imv at all - he can just join in when others mention her

he hasn’t mentioned Jade

Of course it matters of he misunderstood - we are seeing that now

murasaki · 23/01/2026 15:20

Surely it's just part of playing the traitor game. She seems to value integrity, I like her.

Me too - like the integrity - I think she would speak to him first if she was going to write his name down to break their previous agreement

He's more likely to throw her under the bus than she is him.

BlueLimes · 23/01/2026 15:23

She absolutely hates being slightly challenged - looks very ‘how dare you’ I think it’s only her FBI training that stops her doing a Leanne.
