Welcome to Thread 11 of Traitors 2026.

I think the key to last nights task was teamwork, so the players would have had to adapt to work as a team. If they’d had an unfit player, as a team they would (or should) have had them go straight to the top of the hill with little or no stones, leaving the other players to run back and forward and carry more. The amount of stone they needed wasn’t huge, really - they didn’t need the extra that James was getting at the end.

For the carousel, I’m sure someone in their early 60s who’s had extensive medical tests before filming started would have been fine - Fiona wasn’t exactly elderly, despite how she sometimes acted. Getting a seat was then based on luck as much as speed, and only one player got a shield so there wasn’t much disadvantage to not getting one compared to a mission where there could be multiple shields.

Liquoriceallsortsmadear · 23/01/2026 13:45

I think they would have worked out some kind of relay with getting stones up the hill with fitter ones doing a first long leg back and forth and leaving the less for people to ferry back and forth to collect stone

mikado1 · 23/01/2026 13:47

And, to add to the 'still' bit, if no faithful spotted it, Faraaz might have as he is very certain now so maybe will bring it up if she's not voted out. To me it was definitely am admission. I don't know if she noticed it herself as she did seem wrecked.

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 23/01/2026 13:49

i don't understand how the "still" is if significance?

HairyToity · 23/01/2026 13:53

If I was a traitor I'd want to remove all the savvy people first, once Harriet took down Hugo she'd have been out. They totally missed to suss that Faraaz is clever and on to them till the 11th hour.

If they can get Faraaz then they have a chance, but with him in it's dicey.

mikado1 · 23/01/2026 13:55

The still is significance because it makes sense as part of 'even if it was T on T, I still got one out'. She even referred to t on t beforehand but still got one. Whereas if you were faithful you'd say it was not, I accused her and I was right. No still needed. I wasn't looking for it and it jumped out to me as an 'even so'.
I thought her going on about getting Fiona and being so proud of it was a bit odd also.

ClaudiaWeveAllHadChildcareDaysLikeThat · 23/01/2026 14:00

I’m watching episode 5 with the Fiona v Rachel blowup and “I think you’re fibbing”

To be fair to Fiona, forgetting that she’s a traitor and knows who everyone is … why DO all the faithfuls just believe what Rachel said about Amanda? Can they just makeup anything about someone who has departed and it’s not questioned? It is very strange.

I think possibly because Amanda was the most obvious copper ever!

And someone was present when Amanda asked to talk to Rachel

Amanda annoyed me “I’m here to help
YOU find the traitors” - so up herself

Hugo said that too - as if they aren’t included in the group of plebs

Yeah she is really patronising. Grates a lot because she is also so wrong. Poor Jade.

rainforestalliance · 23/01/2026 14:14

I feel like Rachel is done for either way now? Shame as I was hoping for a two traitor win for once.
I will be kind of surprised if Jack is a winner because the edit hasn’t featured him much at all, still forget that he’s there.

ThatCyanCat · 23/01/2026 14:16

I wonder if having had little if any heat on you ever is a disadvantage as you get into the endgame. People will be thinking "how have we got it wrong so much" and start seeking out players who haven't been accused much.

I am probably being a bit dim but I wasn’t sure what she was on about saying “I caught her in a lie” - was the supposed “lie” Fiona not believing the Amanda had told Rachel, then accusing her of being a traitor? It’s not really catching a lie is it?

justtheotheronemrswembley · 23/01/2026 14:25

IVotedForYourself · 23/01/2026 09:55

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've watched, whenever Rachel has been put directly on the spot (prime example - when Faraaz outright said I think the other Traitor is you) she has never responded in the usual way others have - vehemently denying they are a Traitor, or declaring that they are a Faithful.
She just gives pause, and then redirects the accusation and argument onto someone else.
Just wondering if anyone else on here has noticed this, and how has she got away with it every time in the Castle? 😅
I'm not sure who is banished tonight but she's been a brilliant Traitor.
I will say she is one of my favourite Traitors.

I agree with this. She's like a politician the way she casually deflects anything resembling an accusation, and just changes the subject.

What bothers me is that nobody has ever picked up on her evasion when somebody asked her what she 'asked the Traitors' after that magic mirror thing. She just deflected again and shrugged it off as if it were of no consequence.

justtheotheronemrswembley · 23/01/2026 14:28

Iamthesecrettraitor · 23/01/2026 10:47

I personally felt that in the last conversation we saw in the turret, if I am remembering correctly, that Rachel said to Stephen if you hear me talking about you etc etc so I think he’s maybe starting to doubt her loyalty and realised that he’s kept so quiet about her this whole time that she is in prime position to throw him under the bus. So I think that’s why it looks like he’s kind of turned on her a bit.

He would have been a fool not to.

boombangabong · 23/01/2026 14:33

Just to check - does the person banished at the start of tonight’s episode, so James or Rachel, get to reveal if the are a traitor or a faithful? I though they did but just saw something online that suggests that they don’t.

TheGreenBow · 23/01/2026 14:33

Yes this is the last time they get to say.

or maybe we both are 🤷‍♀️

She detailed what she asked - 2 questions - when asked

one about their strategy and one about how they got through

user1484056932 · 23/01/2026 14:44

The traitors choosing to murder Roxy and not Faraaz is what will ultimately cost them, Roxy never suspected Rachel and Stephen as Traitors but they chose to murder her. Makes me wonder if producers are interfering as makes no logical sense to have done that.

They seemed a bit panicked though, i would have practiced overnight, knowing i would be asked. For me it was her first real wobble.

Maggiethecat · 23/01/2026 13:36

Disagree, he said quite early that he’d lie low which is a strategy in itself.
He’s not just plucked Rachel out the air, he’s been observing her behaviour and has sussed for eg the Fiona traitor on traitor.
He’s had to time the chance to out her and the way he did it to her face was brilliant. Plus the goodnight entreaty for her not to murder him.
I hope he goes all the way.
But I think he might be outdone by the hapless Jack who is least deserving in my opinion.

Agree with all of this. He’s been lying low and figuring it all out. He didn’t bring up his theories before now as that’s a sure fire way to get murdered by the traitors. He spoke up as he thought he was at risk and numbers were getting low.

If Rachel can’t win (and she deserves to) then I want him to.

They wobbled because Faraaz had smartly chosen just before to lay his cards on the table and decided it would point too much at Rachel to murder him. They were probably wrong there as Roxy is so dim she wouldn't have believed Rachel was a murderer if she'd walked in on her stabbing someone in plain sight, but there was a logic. Really want Faraaz to win.

Jack had the shield. James and Jade have heat on them to confuse the faithful in their voting. It would have looked too obvious getting rid of Faraaz and they probably thought if Rachel got through the round table they could come back to him the following night (eliminate Faraaz before final)... I got the logic, if Faraaz hadn't come at Rachel that evening or Jack hadn't got the shield, I think Roxy would have been safe for the final.

I don’t know. I’m on episode 6 now (gosh that turret meeting between Fiona Stephen and Rachel is delicious). Faraaz is saying his main suspects are Sam and Stephen in E6. So if Rachel stays in the heat could go either way. I think he still suspects Stephen too.

So in the finale we have:

  1. Either Rachel or James
  2. Stephen
  3. Faraaz
  4. Jade
  5. Jack

If Rachel stays, would she survive another round table? Maybe if the tide turns towards Jade and Stephen again. Jack and Faraaz aren’t suspected at all.
